We stayed a week in the Emerald Grande Sunset Suites. The room we stayed in was waterfront in a two story building. We were glad they put us in the smaller building instead of the main mega resort building. The room appeared to have been recently updated, clean, had a waterview, balcony, kitchenette, couch with a combo washer/dryer. The main resort building has a great rooftop pool w/terrific views. The beach was a short boat shuttle away, which we enjoyed .Plenty of restaurants & marina in walking distance. We would definitely consider staying here again, if the price is right

Would have rated 5 but little things - door lock didn’t work - called - fixed, kitchen lacked some kitchen ware that should be routine - pitcher for making drinks, bed is m my moderately comfortable, toilet paper cheap stuff, a few ants, but awesome balcony - place large enough for our group - furniture dated and could fit 5 vs 7 adults ….

The condo was so nice, the views were spectacular. We were there for my son's wedding and the staff was great! The pool area and hot tub was a great place to unwind after a long weekend of events. The shuttle over to the beach and the towels/beach chairs are a wonderful perk!

First let me state we have no issues paying higher for higher end resorts and services. This was for a 65th wedding anniversary family trip. We were in unit W for west 725 which is a 3-bedroom 3 bath corner condo. Other family members were down the hall in 721 and one on another floor. Let's start with your not told that the resort has until 6 pm to check you in however if you leave after 10 am their check out it is $100 an hour. Other resorts give you a 2 hour grace when available then yes they charge but it can be $35-$50 extra. We had to call twice to have chairs at the dining table fixed as our mom almost landed on the floor. One leg was crooked. When repair came up he came up with a screw driver. On the 2nd call after taking photos of chairs with missing bolts they actually took the chair. Sorry for the inconvenience .As another guest stated there was no hot water and no water pressure in any of the 3 bathrooms. There is a sign that says pardon our dust, however nothing to prepare you for broken elevators which again not too bad unless like our family you have someone needing a motorized scooter. The 2 pools are a fairytale. The inside pool is 3 feet deep and is as big as a large square kitchen at home. It is not until your phones are not working and you go downstairs then you receive a text telling you that you will be without phone service that evening. Sorry for the inconvenience.Theres allot of I can not speak to that and is like they are reading scripts when they are unable to answer your questions. One rep says your in luck this is the last weekend of our fireworks, Later that night when calling to see what time it starts your told sorry for the inconvenience they were cancelled. I recorded and showed the front desk clerk the clanging then high pitch whistles the toilet bowl made for a continuous 9 minutes each time it was flushed. At bedtime we just finally said if it's all liquid try not to flush until morning. We did not mind the Karoke or music as we were right above the boardwalk and that just goes with the territory, it eased up around 0230 am. I would not have even written about it except I called today after looking at our check out Folio and did not understand a few charges. There was $130.57 Travel ins billed Dec 1 2024 when we booked, I explained when they took the $1069.00 deposit they stated if we cancelled our deposit was nonrefundable. Today I find out the insurance was an option and I must have asked for it, Why would I ask for it if I was told this was a non refundable deposit ?? I said Can you tell me why each day I was charged a Bed Tax and each day it is a different amount. So now Im frustrated and I said aren't the beds included in the rooms? Novia said well yes they are. The rep Novia after coming back to me. When I reached her she said that is a front desk issue, I replied I spoke to them, Front desk transferred me to you as they could not " speak to the breakdown of charges. After a slight huff she pl

Booked a 3 room suite for a family weekend, treated myself to the spa package for my birthday. Let me start the review by saying that the individual staff members are VERY good - from the front desk to the chef, pool attendant to the bellman - all are responsive, respective, and helpful. The general management of this place makes it NOT worth the money - essentially 5 start prices for 2 star experience. I booked online - issue number one - be very careful doing this. The "Total" shown on the screen turned out to be HALF of the total - you don't see this until AFTER you've paid and cannot cancel the reservation without losing that money. Everything presented made it appear that two nights would cost $1,000. It ended up being $2k Checking in, I hope you're not tired or have small kids who just want to get to the room. There are five full pages you are presented with to read/initial everywhere and sign multiple times. I swear I signed less documentation to buy my house. There's NO way anyone is actually taking the time to read and consider this thoroughly. Either sign it or lose your money and go find somewhere else to stay. This is in addition to the online documents you needed to sign. The rooms were nice - well appointed, modern, mostly clean and mostly in good repair. If it were a 2 or 300 dollar a night place, it would be absolutely fine. Problems with the room - the deck railings were filthy - don't lean your elbows on them. One of the deck chair seats was cracked. The caulking around the tub was cracked and peeling. There was nowhere to plug a charger in next to any of the beds so forget having your phone near you at night and no clocks on any of the rooms. My son's shower ran out of hot water, and he said the water pressure was very low. We heard another man complaining about the same thing at the front desk. My shower was fine. Turn your ice maker on as soon as you get in the room - there are no ice makers in the place and I guess they turn them off - because, you know, no one wants a cocktail or soda on their vacation, right? They give you ONE package of coffee for your entire stay - bring your own coffee/creamer/sugar. Again, 5-star prices, 2-star service. Again, three room suite - six adults are supposed to share one pot of coffee for a weekend. The elevators cause insanity - some go to some floors but not all and it's very easy to be in the wrong wing and not realize it. Signage OUTSIDE of the elevators would be a smart thing - list the floors, the spa, the pool, the restaurant - not just "GV" and make people guess what that means. There's a blue sign inside SOME of them - but they're so grungy you barely notice them and they're hard to read when you do. I asked a few people if they'd noticed them, and no one had. ONE elevator has clearly marked three floors - inside the elevator. Ok - there's a bar and restaurant that advertise being open until 9pm. Our first night there, we went for a night cap and they were closed a
