This was my 4th stay at The Inn At Folkston. Michael and his wife, Wendy are awesome!! They make you feel right at home. The Inn is beautifully decorated and has a “welcome home” feel to it!! If you’re ever in the area and need a place to stay, you won’t be disappointed.

Michael & Wendy were amazing hosts. I loved my time at the Inn. I felt taken care of in a way that's a lost art these days. Will 100% stay there again.

We always enjoy staying at the Inn at Folkston. We have been coming annually for about 15 years. Room wonderful, food great and hosts have become friends. I highly recommend staying at the Inn and enjoying the Southern Hospitality and train watching in Folkston, GA.

We rented 3 of the 4 rooms at the Inn so that we could all be together for Christmas. The Inn was perfect. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the rooms were large, comfortable and each room was decorated to a specific theme. A delicious breakfast was served each morning and there was a large dining room where we could all be together. Couldn’t have asked for a more memorable place to stay than at The Inn at Folkston for Christmas 2025.

Stayed 1 night while in the area. The owners were not there; however, gave us great information. Nice clean room and living room was comfortable (just a tad dark overall for me). Furnishings are nice and the bed was comfortable. I agree with others that the breakfast is not what I normally experience at other B&Bs. It was just ordinary….yogurt, eggs, plain toast and bacon. It was just ok, nothing unique. But it was enough to fuel us for several hours at the Okefenokee Refuge. The front porch is lovely; however, it was too cold for us to enjoy. The Thai restaurant was recommended and did not disappoint.

A very nice B and B. Michael is a very gracious host; he fixed us a delicious breakfast early so we could make our trip out to the Okefenokee swamp (maybe a 7:20 breakfast would have given us more timely arrival at the swamp, but they waited for us.). Our lighthouse room was delightful and large with many historical books to read about the swamp. Loved those as well. Would recommend this for others, dinner recommendation in town was delicious.

I brought my wife and daughter here for a Father’s Day getaway, and it was everything I hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was top-notch — warm, welcoming, and genuine. You can tell the owners take real pride in what they’ve created. The place itself is beautiful and peaceful, like stepping into a postcard. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and full of charm — you don’t get that kind of character at a hotel. Breakfast each morning? Unreal. Homemade, fresh, and made with love. My wife and daughter kept raving about it, and they don’t rave easily. It was the perfect spot to unwind, reconnect, and celebrate being a dad. Whether we were sitting on the porch, walking the grounds, or just soaking in the quiet, it all felt special. Can’t recommend this place enough. Already planning our next trip back.

I love the large front porch with a swing and rockers. Sipping green tea, watching the birds and relaxing. The room was very nice and the bed comfortable. The breakfasts were very good. Close to the swamp. Walking distance to dining. I would stay there again.
