This hotel room on our arrival was ice cold, replicating the outside weather. Switching on the heating system made little difference. Told by receptionist that it was company policy not to ensure a room was warm for booked guest. If you travel in cold weather and plan a hotel stay I advise either don’t use Travelodge or take your own hot water bottle.

Stayed here over the weekend and was a lovely stay! Sharon who works on reception was unbelievable and went above and beyond to make sure myself and my friends had a wonderful stay!

Member of staff that checked me in was exceptional! Friendly, kind, helpful. Reception and ground floor room and corridor was very clean and well kept. I was in an accessible room but no walk in showers though and no sockets by the bedside to plug in my oxygen equipment. This was not ideal! If I had the window open there is a lot of traffic noise but it didn’t bother me much.

2nd Bad Experience There was Bug Flying Insect and Spider in Room Kids were scared, Blanket were not as clean as they supposed to be. Kids were really scared and worse thing there were no one at reception after 11pm as we checked in around 10:45pm to complain or request to change Room

Overall a great stay for 3 nights during Hardwick Live Festival. The hotel itself is slightly dated, but clean. The staff were great, very pleasant and helpful and it's in a great location for all amenities. The Indian restaurant and 24hr garage came in very handy. A quick walk into town .. beats festival camping any day 🙂

We stayed for 2 weeks to see family everyone we saw was welcoming and polite. Room was good great size bed had everything we needed as it was only to sleep. The two members who stood out to us was Sharon and Anthony they were always chatty polite and welcoming nothing was to much trouble we will be back again thank you for a lovely stay. Sarah and Amy

Very nice stay with pleasant staff. Would most certainly go there again. Local amenities were a short distance away and easy to travel to.

Had a lovely stay at Sedgefield Travelodge. Rooms were clean. The stay was nice and peaceful. Anthony the member of staff at reception was the nicest man, that gave me the most kindest warm welcome. He is an asset to the company. Would strongly recommend staying here.

Friendly welcome. Room was clean and tidy and cool as we were there on a sunny weekend. Bed was so comfortable. There’s a snack vending machine in the lobby and the hotel is close to Le Raj, an Indian restaurant. Although the hotel was right beside a busy road, once the windows were shut we didn’t hear a thing.
