I liked the property until someone went into my room when I was out Saturday and helped themself to my white Samsung plug in mobile telephone charger from the desk. The facility was neat, clean. The bed was comfortable. But the theft of my property really disappointed me. I will never stay at another Hampton Inn.

Unsafe and Unsanitary Stay at Hampton Inn Florence

We reserved two rooms, and unfortunately, both had serious issues that compromised both cleanliness and safety.

In one room, the bathroom was moldy and dirty, and the baseboards were caked in grime. Even worse, the mattress and padding were heavily stained with large, unidentifiable marks and appeared extremely worn and unhygienic.

The second room bathroom faucet was leaking, which led to water pooling on the floor. During the night, a member of our party slipped and fell while trying to use the restroom. Thankfully, the injury was not severe.

While the manager on duty initially apologized and attributed the poor conditions to “new staff,” she later denied any knowledge of these issues.

We’ve always trusted Hilton properties to offer clean, safe, and professionally managed accommodations, but this experience was not only below standards- it was disturbing and unsafe.

I read the great reviews of this property before booking. I can’t believe any of them are real. It feels so dirty and smelly here. I do not recommend this hotel.
