On first floor and not facing road but traffic noise was an issue. Also, door closing noise from other guests when leaving early in morning. Recently refurbished hotel but accumulated dirt behind bathroom door, paintwork starting to peel in bathroom, rusty bathroom bin. However, only there for 2 nights and it was cheap! Previous experience has taught me to never stay at a Travelodge that hasn’t been recently refurbished as they’re horrible.

I stay at this hotel on occasion and it never faults. Clean rooms, welcoming staff. On this visit I was checked in by Faye who was friendly and accommodating. Always return when in the area

The staff were brilliant, both very welcoming and friendly, very helpful with recommendations for places to visit and to eat whilst in town, the room was spotless and everything was fresh and clean.

My second stay at Grafton, staff were really lovely on check in, rooms were clean, always plenty of parking too which is a bonus. Phone signal isn’t the best but the paid wifi works well. Knew the pub opposite wasn’t open but short drive to another pub was no problem. Would stay again.

The man at reception was very unprofessional and rude, I was targeted from the minute I entered the building for absolutely no reason. I choose to pack my things and leave at 11pm, due to how he spoke to me and how uncomfortable he made me feel. When I choose to leave, I tried to speak to him to which he got aggressive, I asked for his name to complain which he refused. I have since emailed customer service and I am still waiting for a response. As a female, I’d suggest not to travel here unless you are in a big group or with a man, as it was scary and intimidating.

This place is situated next to a derelict pub--so a decent breakfast is off the menu. The toilet blocked the room smelled on arrival and the beds were uncomfortable--resulting in a bad nights sleep. Dont bother.

A very friendly staff team who were very accommodating with my needs. Anything I asked for was sorted quickly. Faye was extra helpful and it was very much appreciated. I will be back
