The staff were lovely friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable and peaceful and I had everything I needed it was nice to have a few places next to the front to eat ..the manager was really nice my only bad point is that if you don't drive be prepared for the taxi drivers to completely rip you off I had to phone about 10 cab companies to eventually get a cab to the station 2 mins cost me £22 but that is not the hotels fault

Went to a wedding with friends stayed here lovely and clean and staff were really nice thanks to Jane the manager for looking after us nice room and comfortable beds close to the venue about 10 mins in cab I would recipe staying here food shops right next to it

Poo down the side of the pan. Lady who checked me in was great. The hotel is nice but old fashioned. But on day I was leaving I noticed there was old poo. What looked like someone else's spoo down the side of the pain. When leaving I did tell the lady on reception. Explained that had it been mine, I would have wiped it while wet. Who knows how long it's been there and for how many guests? Is it still there? Have changed the s word to poo

On the 3rd day there I woke from a much needed sleep to find the manageress in my room sneaking about, I caught sight of her leaving the bath room in room 4 where I was staying at 18:32 that evening, she must have noticed or heard me waking as she headed for the exit door ignoring me saying hello hello, I immediately got dressed n went yo reception, I asked who was in my room, the guy replied, not me I have only just come on duty! I said who was on before you ? he replied Jane the manageress ! I never did get to the bottom of it, they have a policy that no staff is permitted to enter the rooms whilst clients are in them! What the f*** was she doing in there, disturbing still. The place has mould problems in room 9 - 6 bathroom through to bedroom on ceiling outer wall, when I wiped this I was had a go at as if it was my fault, think building inspector will tell you different 😀 In the end I was accused of smoking in the room because I was not seen outside the front smoking enough!! The manageress n smoking cohaults may be out there smoking almost every 15 mins but I am not a fag ash lil neither do I want to become one, so with that I choose to longer stay at this rat infested place that is also run like a goolage, some serious re shuffling of staff needs to take place here, there are a couple of staff who would do a better job of running the now ailing ship, but of course they have to be seen n appreciated for their efforts of which are hugely swept under the carpet obviously by management.
