I just wanted to leave a special thank you to Allen and Debbie on reception. This weekend, I was really struggling to find accommodation in Cardiff because of the rugby match taking place tomorrow. I was relieved to finally secure a double room at this hotel. At the last minute, my family decided to join me, so I contacted the hotel to see if there was any possibility of upgrading to a family room. Allen and Debbie were absolutely wonderful. They were so kind, understanding, and genuinely helpful. They went the extra mile to try to accommodate us and made what could have been a stressful situation feel easy and positive. Their warmth and professionalism really made a difference to our stay. To their manager: you have two very valuable members of staff. They truly deserve recognition and to be incentivised for the excellent service they provide. Thank you again for making our stay in Cardiff such a lovely experience.

Only hotel I've stayed at where you couldn't close the bathroom door. Bathroom door had a poorly repaired hole near the top of the door on the outside, but the issue was the bottom door hinge. The roller catch was broken and the door would not close - therefore the door remained ajar the whole stay. Had I not been staying with family I would have reported the matter to the staff. Other than that the stay was as I'd expect. Given the location the room was very quiet with no noise from inside the hotel nor outside.

After a long drive, it was lovely to be met with a friendly greeting from the lady on reception. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There were plenty of fresh towels and tea/coffee facilities provided. The price was very reasonable; the room is basically furnished but as expected. I needed a budget stop on my journey; it is on the M4 so very convenient - with a variety of eating places attached. Free parking.

I stayed at this Travelodge and was very impressed with the service, especially from Debbie on reception. She was friendly, professional, and went out of her way to help with my questions. Excellent customer service and a credit to the hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located next the the M4 and within easy reach of Cardiff centre. Our room was clean and well aired, comfortable and warm and the staff were friendly. It was great value and we would definitely stay here again

Convenient location after driving 9 hour from Glasgow. David who checked us in was very welcoming and informative 10/10. However that’s were the positives finish, the room was freezing on arrival (room 103) took a long time to heat up, the shower had been left dripping causing water to be all over the bathroom floor, the amount of hairs found in the bath tub when running a bath and around the toilet was horrible, the overall cleanliness of the whole room was not up standard dust on the headboard, bedside lights, shelf’s, desk and the mirror on the back of the door hadn’t even been cleaned still finger marks and I don’t know what else on it. On checking out we didn’t get the same service from reception as we did when we checked in, my partner drop the key and tried to say thank you to the girl that’s was and was meet with a couldn’t care less attitude unfortunately I didn’t catch her name but put a smile on your face love you are a receptionist the face of the company! That being said good value for money

I had a very pleasant stay at Travelodge Cardiff M4. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well located, making it a convenient base for my trip. The room was tidy and quiet, and everything I needed for a comfortable stay was provided. I’d especially like to mention David, who was incredibly helpful throughout my stay. His hospitality really stood out he was friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything was okay. He made me feel genuinely welcome and was a real credit to the hotel. Overall, a great experience with excellent customer service. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to others.
