I had a really pleasant stay at Travelodge Derby Cricket Ground. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made a big difference. The hotel is in a great location, close to the city centre and easy to get around. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything was exactly what I needed for my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

It all started with a generously warm welcome by Gary, the Manager, and then his Deputy, Elaine. Made to feel especially welcome given that I was there as a 'rejected' and 'suspended' member (24 years) of Nuffield Centre for Health and Wellbeing, Derby. I needed a base to continue to continue to collect petition signatures by members given that I was no longer able to use the Nuffield cafe to do so,.

Stayed as a work group for our Christmas party at cricket ground. The staff are really friendly especially Mike who made sure our stay was perfect and nothing was too much trouble. The bedrooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was spot on, great choice and food hot. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was terrible, double cooked sausages, bacon hard because it’s been there a while. Tomatoes dry and the mushrooms were disgusting. Mandy

Stopped at Derby Cricket Ground Travelodge with some friends. The room was clean and comfortable however at an additional cost of £10.75, the breakfast was awful. The ingredients were dried up and inedible. We asked for more cooked mushrooms and as you can see from the pictures, not much cooking went into them.

Booked 2 nights last minute. Have given 5 Stars based on the price I paid. Free parking room clean, staff helpful. 10 walk into the city.

From the moment we arrived, we was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome that immediately made me feel at home. The check-in process was quick and easy, and the staff went out of their way to make sure everything was just right. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped — exactly what we needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was cozy, and we had great night’s sleep. We also appreciated how quiet and well-kept the hotel was. It’s clear that the team takes real pride in their work, and it shows in the excellent customer service and attention to detail. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so enjoyable — I’ll definitely be returning but in different circumstances! We would like to mention Marie is a real credit to your team helping me out with advice and just generally going out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Mike for going out of his for us and nothing was to much trouble even got our son a bag of treats at Halloween as he couldn't go trick or treating. Roxy again always happy to help us nothing was to much trouble. And the petite lady with Dutch braids always helping with the WIFI and I don't know how many keys were cut due to my sons leaving them in the room again nothing was to much trouble, this team are a real credit to your hotel.

2 poor nights sleep as the aircon was noisy, kept cutting in and out and blowing out cold air all night. Reported to reception but they could do nothing. Otherwise very clean and good location
