Excellent hotel ! I was greeted by Marie and Mike on arrival, the room was clean and smelt fresh. Great evening meal served by Amy, will definitely be returning with the family

Nice hotel, great location, nice large bar area. Ordered the flat bread pizza which comes with a fantastic salad made by the Chef Maria. Saw some of the other food coming out and I’d say you’d be happy with ordering any good here at the Travelodge Cricket Ground. Fabulous thankyou.

I have stayed here a few times now but yesterday was fantastic. All the staff from Gary(manager), couldn't be more lovely. I have worked in hospitality management all my life, so I know when I get good service. There isn't a member of the team that didn't go the extra mile. Special thanks to Amy and Mike from check-in who sorted rooms so that I was next to my mum. She is 80 and I never even asked. They had even put an extra heater in her room just incase. We had an evening meal and with mum being gluten free, can often be an issue. Mike sorted a GF meal, she really enjoyed it and had a 3 course breakfast. Breakfast and room amazing value for money. Room was clean, comfortable, good size and I had a lovely view over the cricket ground Parking was ideal, nice location and really quiet considering your right in the thick of it. Well done travelodge I will now consider other of your accommodations based on my experience here 👍

Excellent breakfast , from walking in and greated with a friendly smile , all the information required about the facilities was communicated clearly , tables clean and ready and lovely service from Marie who couldn’t do enough for us , helped with the drinks machines and was non stop making sure all guests had enough fresh food and everything they needed , worth the visit just for the excellent level of service provided at breakfast , I’ll be back for more 😎

I had a really pleasant stay at Travelodge Derby Cricket Ground. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made a big difference. The hotel is in a great location, close to the city centre and easy to get around. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything was exactly what I needed for my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

It all started with a generously warm welcome by Gary, the Manager, and then his Deputy, Elaine. Made to feel especially welcome given that I was there as a 'rejected' and 'suspended' member (24 years) of Nuffield Centre for Health and Wellbeing, Derby. I needed a base to continue to continue to collect petition signatures by members given that I was no longer able to use the Nuffield cafe to do so,.

Stayed as a work group for our Christmas party at cricket ground. The staff are really friendly especially Mike who made sure our stay was perfect and nothing was too much trouble. The bedrooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was spot on, great choice and food hot. Will definitely stay here again in the future.
