Room was cold regardless of setting temp. Bath as so small could hardly sit in it. Mold in bathroom. Peeling paint. Door moved when locked. Water takes ages to get hot.

Location is perfect close to the centre of town The members of staff are efficient and polite and helpful. Beds are very comfortable and clean. Downside bathroom was dated and dirty. The hot water would not come out of the tap so we couldn't use the bath. I paid £103 for this room for one night and would have expected to be able to have a bath

I am a regular visitor to the Rugeley Travelodge. We use this as a weekend base whilst visiting family. The staff are always friendly on arrival. The rooms are always clean, beds comfortable with clean sheets and on the odd occasion where there may have been an issue. It’s dealt with promptly. This morning my wife needed a hairdryer. The member of staff on the desk who’s a regular face was very helpful. Laura is a credit to Travelodge and no doubt we’re going to be staying there again.

Absolutely past its best! Place stinks, dirty, uncomfortable! Pay a few quid more and go elsewhere! Only one bed made up after paying more for family room and additional bed. Stained failed mattress, hotel stinks and is very tired! Staff didn’t even speak on check out! Door splattered with dodgy looking stains. Dirty towels, mould in bathroom! I would just give it a pass!! Go to the purple bedded hotel Down the road, far superior and clean!

Arrived and checked in, went to my room opened the door and the first thing I saw was a half drunken bottle of water on the side, that made me look around, hairs in the bath, water still in a dirty kettle, floor hadn't been hoovered, rips in the beding, and a dirty bathroom mirror, amongst other thing, disgusting £50 to stay in sqwallow.

Such a shame to have a bad experience as I’ve always had pleasant experiences with travelodge. The daytime receptionist was rude, the hotel was grubby and smelt awful. The carpets were badly stained! It was all very grubby and run down! The evening receptionist was very helpful so she does deserve praise. That was the only positive from the stay!
