Staff were super friendly, super helpful and super nice, I was going through a hard time and they supported me through it. It’s a fabulous place to stay if you need to get away from everyone and everything for a break xx

We stayed at Halkyn for 2 nights during half term to visit family close by, we received a warm welcome from the manager who gave us a lovely room (22) although we were told the hotel was full it was so quiet. The staff here are amazing, very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

Forcing customers to purchase overpriced wifi by using illegal signal blockers is something I have experienced at every travelodge i have stayed at. Not acceptable.

Visited for a couple of nights over the weekend while I was at the growler rally next door at halkyn castle wood. Great distance just a short walk away. Always felt safe as a soli traveller. Reception team very friendly and my room was clean and very quiet room 27. Great budget hotel will definitely use again when in the area.

Stayed here for one night in room 25. Comfortable bed, quiet fellow guests, clean room and a warm welcome from reception. For a budget hotel I experienced an excellent night there.

I will not stay here again ! As a solo traveller I have never felt so unsafe with no locking system on the door or ways too alert staff as was placed in the furthest corridor away from reception if I needed them . The room had a musty smell especially from the linen and a sewage aroma when opening the toilet lid . It was noisy ! I stayed 1 out of 2 nights booked and paid for !!!!

Travelodge have asked me to leave a review. This is not a hotel. It’s a motel circa 1983. Moldy, dusty and an insult to the paying guest. WiFi conspicuous in its absence unless you pay! (Very generous 30 mins free). Bizarrely mobile signal appears blocked in rooms? Anyway, thank you Travelodge for reminding me how little you think of your customers!
