The lady who checked us in (Amanda C) was great. She was friendly, professional, pleasant and polite. She was helpful and made us feel very welcome. The location was good for us as we needed somewhere easily accessible. The parking was plentiful. The room was clean but old and tired. There was a hole instead of a bedside table. No bedside plug sockets. The room was freezing cold. Normally hotel rooms (we mainly use travel lodge) are too hot and we can open a window for fresh air. I was freezing cold all night. The birds woke me at 3am and I hardly slept from then. Birds do not wake at 3am in January. They don’t even wake until 4am at the height of summer when the mornings are lighter earlier. The lights in the car park are far too bright which makes the birds think it’s daytime. They become lethargic and can’t fly away and can’t sleep because of the light so keep singing. The car park would benefit from some warmer lights then the room atmosphere would be calmer and quieter. We don’t pay a lot for the room but it didn’t compensate for the fact we weren’t able to sleep.

We travel around the UK for sporting events. Travelloge allows us to arrive late evening and leave early morning with no hassle or stress. Clean comfortable bed, convenient location and a nice shower. They are perfect for what we need and very reasonable too

Perfect as a way-station on M4. Manda welcomes you like a prodigal son. Booking is easy. Check in with Manda at the desk is smooth. Clean room. Greggs for breakfast. Costa for espresso. Just what you need.
