My room was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Shower was nice and new. Convenient location with a Starbucks next door. The hotel was quiet and the back rooms have a view of a field rather than the road at the front.

Stayed here for 1 night whilst working in the area. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and polite. I wouldn't stay here for anymore than a night as, with it being on the A1, you need to drive to get anywhere for a meal. Ample parking, even if you have a van.

Right on the side of the A1, next to a Starbucks but completely free of road noise. Ample free parking. Perfect for us even if the bath was showing it’s age

Staff friendly and helpful. hotel was quiet the room was clean and fresh and good size looked like it had been recently up dated, bed was comfortable would stay there again

We had 2 nights here in a clean family room with 2 pull out beds which was fine. It was generally quiet and overlooked a field. Unfortunately the shower hose was so short you couldn't stand up underneath it. When I queried this with Reception I was told the whole hotel was like it and that these had recently been installed. We travelled with my daughter who is currently in a 2 legged cast and therefore used the Disabled parking space right outside which was convenient. Unfortunately both mornings the maintenance van parked on the yellow hatched area (fire assembly point too) which blocked access to the ramp up to the hotel and also prevented us opening her door wide enough to get in which is the reason we have a Blue Badge. Again we did mention this to reception and just got advised it was also a problem for someone else the day before.

Much better options around the corner. Road was so noisy windows had to be closed then it was stinking hot

Location was very good. Rooms very basic, no hairdryers. Rooms were very dated. No amenities had a vending machine for drinks. Had to walk to local pub for something to eat. Had to pay for WiFi. Service on the day by reception staff was poor. Not very helpful. Definitely prefer premier Inn would not use Travel Lodge again
