We stay for quarterly pastoral visits in the area and always find a welcome and a comfortable stay, needing a ground floor room one of us has some foot disability, long-term. Well done to Zoe for the welcome and next morning to Cloe who seems to happily excel in her management role. When we leave we always look forward to the next stay. Keeping staff is a good sign of a well run company and hotel/lodge. Well done!

Friends and ourselves had a Day/Evening out in Ludlow for Christmas. The Travelodge is in walking distance of Ludlow and has the advantage of on-site parking. No one on reception when we arrived late morning, which we weren't expecting as we were too early for check in. We had to contact staff by phone to ask if we were okay to leave the car, before checking in later, and to ask if we could possibly use the WC before walking into town. We were told that there would be no one available to let us in for at least 15 minutes, so we headed into town without a toilet stop. When we returned later we checked in quickly with no problems. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Would definitely stop again as ideal for visiting Ludlow.
