We booked breakfast with the room, but only offered a take away continental style breakfast with no vegan option. Unable to get a refund for 4 breakfasts costing £11.90 each i.e. £47.60! Outrageous. A refund would be greatly appreciated.

Brilliant value for money. Clean and confortable room. Easy and free parking. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Will definitely book again when staying in the area.

A last minute stop, excellent customer service. Guy was very busy but still ensured guests were happy and had everything they needed.

A good place to stay when traveling north on the M6. Easy to find and a welcoming smile when you arrive. We have stayed there on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed.

Travelodge as a company are great for a basic hotel experience, rooms are always clean and tidy with friendly helpful staff. At this particular location we have found the staff to be awesome, they are all friendly and more than happy to help with local information and advice. There is one particular member of staff that we feel deserves a mention though, Sherri. She's an absolute star. Always happy, welcoming and puts a smile on our faces. Thanks travelodge for employing such big characters.

Book 2 night stay with travelodge ,had to swap to 1 night stay,because of their policey regardingswap was charged admin fee of £12.50 And not reimbursed the 1 night Therefore paid over£119 for 1 night

I stayed here twice within a few weeks and I can say that my experience both times were almost identical. There is plenty of parking as it is part of a service station, especially in the evenings. Most of the stores are open until 10pm or 11pm, so plenty of time to grab dinner and/or snacks. The hotel itself is generally well maintained, with good security and helpful & polite receptionists. The rooms are what you'd expect from Travelodges. Compared with Premier Inns I think they're very similar. The only downside to the hotel, from what I experienced both times, are black stains (likely from hair dye) on towels and shower curtains. I can recommend the hotel for a quick overnight stay, especially if you want decent quality for a good price.
