I strongly advise travelers to avoid this property, as the positive reviews appear to be misleading or possibly written by individuals connected to the owners. Despite being marketed as a "cottage," the accommodation was merely a small room with an attached bathroom, lacking privacy due to a plain glass front wall with minimal curtains. Additionally, the hotel was under construction, making it an unsafe .The staircase to the first floor was loosely installed, posing a serious risk. The hygiene standards were extremely poor, and no trained staff was available. The only staff member present was unprofessional and rude, adding to the unpleasant experience. Treebo’s customer service further disappointed us, as they responded to our concerns in a rude manner instead of addressing the issues. Although breakfast was supposedly included in the package, all we received were two idlis . The high pricing of this place is completely unjustified given the lack of basic amenities, safety concerns, and unprofessional service. If you are considering a stay in Coorg, I recommend exploring alternative options that prioritize guest comfort, safety, and professionalism.

Good Things: 1. The hotel is about 10km outside the city centre, amidst coffee plantation. 2. Staff are polite, friendly and helpful. Bad, Rather Worst Things: 1. The pictures provided in booking sites are of cottage but that's deceiving because this is an under construction building. When asked the staffs about it, they said, the cottage was there earlier, now that has been broken down and the new building is under construction. Moreover the new images are not updated in any of the booking sites. 2. Rooms are neat but filled with insects 3. No option in complementary breakfast. In the name of complementary breakfast they provide the same dish every day. 4. The main issue is privacy. Leave out privacy for couples. There's no basic privacy for anyone. The glass is see through and the curtains are sleek and translucent. 5. The glass door has gaps, so insects keep coming in. 6. The bathroom exhaust doesn't work. 7. Several snails in the bathroom. 8. The faucet functions just the opposite to what it says on it. I mean, if you turn it to where it says 'Hot', only cold water comes out and in place of 'Cold' hot water comes out, that too only once you've wasted about a bucket full of water, may be more at night. 9. No dim / night lamp. 10. Difference between a Standard room and a Delux room is just that the mattress is different one and another difference is that with the TV. In the Delux room you get a foam + choir mattress and a SMART TV, where as the Standard room gets a Spring Mattress and the TV is of a smaller size and just with cable connection. Otherwise the rooms are identical. 11. No toiletries provided. 12. In order to make it adventurous, they have not trimmed the coffee plants at the entrance of the hotel. As a result you almost have to crawl, while entering the hotel. 13. No intercom. So in order to call for 14. Even in December, no provision of bonfire.

The stay was pleasant, the hotel is situated outside the main city 10kms from city centre in the middle of a coffee plantation. The caretaker Kanchi is really sweet lady and ensures you have a pleasant stay.

Awesome property in the lap of nature,well maintained rooms, neat and clean hygiene rooms, good breakfast and dinner was provided, special thanks to cook saraswathi, caretaker Sagar will be available all time, house keeping staff did their job promptly,i loved the place, will visit again shortly, Kudos jammabane

Awesome stay for 3days.Room is kept clean and staff is so humble and responsive. most importantly amazing view from the room. One minus is food is not available at the hotel,need to travel for it or it should be ordered.

We had stayed in this cottage for 3 nights and overall property experience was good, but there is no proper room service. Property is so isolated which is great thing but wont recommend for solo travellers who are planning for long stay. There is only on caretaker Kanchi from Nepal who barely understands any language and its very difficult to get things done. Owner never answered our call for any help. Rooms were clean but didnt get fresh bedsheet and blanket throughout our stay for 3 days. This property needs to increase staff and should have basic kitchen to get at least hot water. In monsoon dont expect hot water :\
