Not quite modern
There have not been many updates at this location. There is a microwave and there is a refrigerator and there is one of those little tiny coffee makers but there is no USB outlet. I have become accustomed to stay in a hotel room where I don't need to carry a charger with me just my charging wire. Also a knob was missing off the dress one of the dresser drawers and a few spots had been missed and cleaning the bathtub and the towels are not posh and generous there from another era size wise. I was not impressed with the outdoor stairway.

Got a smoking room that smelled horrible. Did not request a smoking room. It was the only room available upon checking in

All of the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. We arrived at midnight and had no issue getting checked in. The bedroom area is the room was average and appeared clean. The bathroom had mold all over the walls. We were exhausted from traveling so we didn't get up early enough for the breakfast

There is mold on the shower ceiling...that is a health hazard & could shut them down. There were dead bugs on the carpet. The upstairs floor squeaked every time someone took a step, making me wonder if they would fall through the floor. The front desk person mumbled something to the effect that he would take care of the mold, but did NOT seem to care.

It was a descent stay, but need a car to explore anywhere from there. The place could use some upgrading as it’s a bit drab and elderly, but clean and friendly staff.
