For Best Western properties - Ottawa falls short.
TV - 1 channel only via remote. Manually changing chanels via cable box. Upon check-out, receptionist explained others having same problem........
Breakfast ? Should have been described as breakfast snack. Waffle, toast, yogurt or protein bars were only options. Very, very disappointing. ＜--simply due to this, next year I will stay elsewhere.
Bed ? Mattress with Link Spring/Helical Spring design is unacceptable - way outdated. Squeaky and much more comfortable designs are available today.

Review
Pool was not available and had standing water. Bathroom floor needed cleaning. Shower curtain road was barely hanging on. A little more attention to room detail is needed. Ok place to stay overnight.

Staff are great. Check in and out was a breeze. And did i say staff were great! The room could have used a good cleaning, lots of dirt around the floorby baseboards and even spiderwebs there. We would choose here again tho. Bed was comfortable and did have a goodnights sleep.

The staff were very friendly and helpful! Unfortunately I found a large leggy bug in my room along with some dead ones and a few flies. The bed was semi-comfortable and the walls are thin. Ive stayed in better for cheaper. I wish I could say I will stay again, but I most likely won’t. But again, the staff was great!

The room was filthy. All of the linen did not appear to be cleaned from previous stays. They were stained and dingy. The refrigerator, soap dispenser and the floor were all filthy. There was a fly swatter in the room and dead bugs. There was water damage on the walls and ceiling causing cracks and holes in the plaster. There was a wire sticking out of the wall. The key card had to be reprogrammed 3 times to work properly. The pool was closed, which could have been told during the reservation, it had a small amount of water in it that was green and the area was being used as storage. There were dead bugs in the pool room windows and looked filthy. The area was sketchy as well.

Breakfast was limited.
It is very convenient to the freeway and fast food restaurants.
