This property was right on the beach and was a great stay. The beds was extremely comfortable and clean. The only issue was the toliet would only flush if you held the handle down the entire time and you had to wait some time before you could flush again

Had to leave early due to family emergency. Was refunded for one night through *******. The next flday the manager or someone called me while I was at hospital with my family member. Told him i would call back within the hour and he started screaming at me being extremely rude saying I did not pay. I trued explaining that I paid through ******* but he was not hearing me. I trued explaining further but he just kept screaming at at me i could hear the echo through the phone which is how loud it was. I just hung up and of course ******* took care of it.

We have stayed here before on a few occasions, overall it is a nice hotel. The pool has no cover from the sun and there are no umbrellas, it would be nice if they had some, Our telephone in the room did not work and although reported it was not taken care of before we left. We were there for two nights on this visit in which time we did not see any housekeeping services bot we were able to get by with the towels that were there.

Very spacious room but the toilet handle broke during the day. When I called the front desk no one answered. When i finally got some on the phone they said maintenance had gone for the day and i could deal with it or change rooms. I got charges on my card and no receipt. They are high.

The biggest problem with this hotel room was the perpetual dampness. We stayed for three days, and wet items we hung to dry (swimsuits, towels, etc) on the first day, were still wet when we checked out on day four. we left a magazine on a nightstand, and that too was damp enough to compromise the integrity of the paper when we checked out. The doors to the balcony and also the room are so heavy and difficult to open as to be dangerous. They do not stay open and slam shut with a very loud bang. We heard the doors to the room next to us, and I'm sure the people in that room heard ours. Forget trying to carry something inside or out because if you or someone doesn't hold the door, it will slam on you like a mousetrap. The beach view from the room was amazing, and we had a corner room with two balconies. The staff we met were friendly and personable, but at times, the front desk was unattended. Except for the extreme dampness in the room, everything else could be overlooked, but this problem influenced our decision not to stay there again. We had friends staying at the Islander resort, which is within walking distance of this hotel, and dampness was not an issue in their beachfront room. Therefore, it is likely an issue with the Best Western. Also, they charge for parking, $23.00 per day plus a service fee. I don't know what this fee is for, as the parking is not secure, and they do nothing with your car.

Beach view and access was worth the dampness of the room expected from an older building's location on the beach.

A surprising daily parking fee of $23/night was not appreciated. Comment was that there is such a daily parking fee by hotels(even for people renting rooms) along the whole stretch of beach

Entire staff very friendly and courteous

Loved the stay overall. The only problem was the wheelchair ramp to the pool was closed. There was no way I could get to the pool, and I was told it would be finished on Wed., but it was still being worked on when we left Fri. I felt like I should have been comped at least breakfast, the manager I assume sorta dismissed me. Hey, that was the whole purpose of me going to Florida to get in the pool and being in a wheelchair, it did not happen.
