So ---- I had been waiting to write this review because I was told that management would call me to talk to me about my issues with the hotel. I did not get a call so here I go with my mostly negative review. This is a long review so you can just look at the bullet points to get the gist.
1. Parking – this hotel is trying to be a hotel and also a restaurant - there is not enough parking for either. When I book a hotel room I don’t think I should have to worry about whether or not I can park in the hotel parking lot. Unfortunately that is not the case with this Best Western – if you find a space, don’t give it up!.
2. Room – small and cramped needing to be renovated. In the room we were given, unless you are sitting at the computer desk, there is no other seating in the room except for the bed. We ended up bringing a chair from the outside seating area in front of each room which would be lovely facing the parking lot during pleasant weather. There is also a “back door” going to a long deck facing the water which should be absolutely lovely in good weather. It was only of the definite plus points for this hotel but not quite enough to balance out the negatives.
3. No light blocking curtains – windows are closed off from light by louver hurricane shutter type blinds and there were glass blocks under the windows. Every time a car came into the parking lot the room is “flashed” by head lights and the room is never dark – no need for a “night light” in this room!

Tired and worn out. Bathroom sink cracked, bathtub was is bad shape. Bed...well after a nights sleep we both woke up with a sore back. The location was convenient close to downtown Denedin. Pool was noce as well.

The views are breathtaking. Not the most comfortable bed. But the staff is great. And the restaurants are really good

Rooms were renovated and on the water. The staff was accommodating and there was a restaurant and a tiki bar on the premises. It was at the end of the Main Street of Dunedin so the town was so walkable.

Traveling with a puppy, discovered that “grass” was hard to find near my room. Room was old but nicely updated. Mattress should have been turned years ago. Location is the key to this place, as it is ideal for visiting Dunedin without needing a car.

Friendly staff, clean room, size was spacious and location is perfect!
Would like to see an updated bathroom though.

I visited with mom and a friend and we loved this hotel! The two views were both fabulous and we could hear the music from the restaurant one night. Beds were comfy and breakfast was great! The coffee machine is fabulous! Very friendly staff!
