what a cool old hotel with great history! good location, beautiful setting, comfortable bed, lovely accommodations. my only issue was the cleanliness of the bathroom and the dust on the ceiling fans & sprinklers above the bed in our room. would def go back though, because the good far outweighed the bad!

Staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was amazing. Very clean. Very historical and architecturally beautiful. Great place for history buffs or those who enjoy old, elegant buildings.

Room and hotel very neat and cool. Issue was noise from the bar under my room with music blaring into the late night hours.

The staff was AMAZING! I actually got sick while on our trip and the staff let me stay on for a longer check out. They were all super kind. The room was very pretty, clean and spacious. Very easy parking. Lovely history. We ate at Floyd’s and the food and service was great. Highly recommend!

The hotel 🏨 s gorgeous, and the room was very clean. We enjoyed our stay there.
We were, however disappointed in the wait staff in the Rosemary and Thyme restaurant. There were only a few tables filled, however we sat at our table for at least 10 minutes without someone giving us water or ask if we wanted a drink. During the wait, several wait staff walked back and forth past our table without even looking our way. I ordered a mojito and the bartender forgot to add simple syrup, so we had to verbally flag down a waitress to get some added. No bread was served to us yet another table next to us got served some immediately after being seated.
The food was good.l, but we walked away disappointed in the entire experience.

An unexpected pleasure. Beautiful late 19th century architecture; pleasant, friendly, efficient staff; comfortable and clean rooms, well-maintained considering this is an historic building. Breakfast was another unexpected treat. I would drive out of my way to stay here again.
