The bathroom was old, with some mold in the grout and caulking. Other parts of the hotel also needs a refresh.

The door locks were not working so the front desk had to let us into our rooms if we went out. The front desk said they knew for a few days and still tool reservations knowing that the guests could not get in and out of there rooms. Terrible, property is run down and not in good condition but ******* said it had an excellent rating. Very misleading. I’m going to request a refund: they didn’t even give us a receipt!

Unfortunately, our key machine was down on the afternoon of your arrival, which prevented us from issuing physical keys for your room. As the General Manager, I personally checked you in and offered to relocate you to a nearby room near the front entrance to ensure you could come and go more easily. I am glad to hear that you accepted this solution.I also want to clarify that the key machine was only down for that day and not for several days, as was suggested. This was an unforeseen issue, and we did our best to accommodate you amidst the situation.Regarding the receipt, I would like to clarify that receipts are issued through the third-party booking platform and are not provided directly by the hotel. I apologize for any confusion this may have caused.Once again, I truly appreciate your understanding and feedback. We value your patronage and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future.

This was our second stay there. Always very easy check-in, staff is always very friendly and polite. We came a little earlier in the day this time, Wakeeney is a neat little town.

Perfectly fine place to stay on I-70. Clean rooms. Expanded cable on nice TV. AC worked perfectly. Bathrooms clean. Breakfast was pleasant.

Nothing special, decent for a single night while traveling. Convenient to I-70 for sure; not much else in Wakeeney.
