This is a dated property in the middle of a large area of dated ***** malls with multiple chain restaurants nearby for meals. There is a nice outdoor pool and sitting area in the back which we enjoyed in the late afternoon breeze and sun. The serve yourself breakfast was consistent with other chain hotels, in a dated wood trimmed gathering room.

It was ok. You dont really see any staff except housekeeping. Breakfast was good but no high-chairs. Roaches but not bed bugs and not visible unless you move something. It did the job for 2 nights.

Everything was great except the breakfast. Danishes were good and that’s about it, bacon eggs and bagels were bad. Room was very clean and the beds were comfortable.

I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus in Waycross while visiting family, and I was really impressed with the overall experience. The hotel was clean and quiet, and the staff made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in.
My room was spacious and very comfortable—especially the bed, which was perfect after a long day of driving. The air conditioning worked great (a must in South Georgia), and I appreciated the mini fridge and microwave for snacks and drinks.
Breakfast each morning was a nice surprise: hot waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, fruit, and fresh coffee—everything was well-stocked and clean, even when it got a little busy.
What really stood out to me was the hospitality. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and housekeeping did a great job throughout my stay. It felt like they genuinely cared about making guests comfortable.
The location was convenient too—close to restaurants, stores, and just a short drive from the Okefenokee Swamp Park, which I highly recommend if you're in the area.
Only reason I’m giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is that some of the décor and carpets are starting to show their age, but honestly, everything was clean and well-maintained.
Overall, I’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Waycross looking for a reliable, comfortable place to stay.
