Hearty breakfast for free! Good location for access to the ski lifts (about 500 yards). Easy walk downtown as well. Everyone who works there is really nice and they take great care of guests and the hotel. Overall it was a very good value.

I didn't make the trip. More than 48 hours before my scheduled arrival I call the lodge to cancel due to a family crisis/illness. Reservation was binding and no refund allowed. Also alerted ******* where I'd made the original reservation - No refund allowed.
Now I'm getting this survey about my stay and a message from the Lodge for online check out. Is anyone listening?

The breakfast was very good. Lots to choose from. Loved the fireplace fire. Every morning. Beds are comfortable. I loved having a bathtub in the bathroom. Small fridge and coffee maker. No microwave.
Check in was an adventure. I had requested a ground floor room 6 months earlier when i made my reservation. When i got there we were given a room on the second floor. We are all senior citizen. The stairway upstairs in stèep and hard to navigate with luggage. Room was nice with a mountain view but the stairs were a no go. We went downstairs and asked if any ground level rooms were available. He told us they had many openings so we changed rooms. Smaller but nice.

Overall this is a nice place to stay. Much better than a VRBO we stayed at earlier. Will stay there again.

Hotel is conveniently located. Staff is incredibly nice. Hotel was clean. Definitely not a luxury stay but clean and comfortable. Very outdated. Good for a business stay or a stop in for a shower after hiking.
