We booked this room for the night before a cruise. We had to book Kemah, because it was Lonestar Bike Rally weekend in Galveston and the rooms on the island were either sold out or outrageous. For the price, it was fine. The location looks a little sketch, but we had no issues. The elevator doesn't work. Luckily our room was only on the 2nd floor. The building itself and the entry into the hotel look clean. The carpet and rooms are a little run down. The furniture in the room needs to be replaced, including the mattresses. The mattress was a little hard. The room was clean, but everything was just old. No signs of cockroaches or bedbugs so that was good. I did a very thorough investigation lol. Just old furniture. The bathroom had been renovated, so that was really clean and new looking. They should take out the carpets and put down those tile/wood look floors like a lot of hotels have now. it gives the room a larger and cleaner feel. But we only stayed the one night and it was fine for the night.

The staff was amazing! The hotel's elevator was out of order but the staff was accommodating regarding the issues. The room itself was okay...functional but could use some updating. The hotel itself was very conveniently located to points of interest in Kemah and Seabrook both.

Nothing worked, the elevator was down, the hallways was poorly maintained, they gave me the keys to someone else’s room. The gym was closed, however the front desk lady was nice
