Overall, we had a pleasant experience at this hotel, but there were a number of issues that affected our comfort. The air conditioning in the bedroom worked, but the sitting room unit was broken from the day we arrived. We reported it, and while an engineer confirmed it was out of gas, it was never repaired during our stay. We also heard other guests with similar complaints. There was a leak in our bathroom from the room above, and although we reported it to reception multiple times, it took several attempts before anything was done. The dining area and corridors have no air conditioning, which made meals uncomfortable in 36°C heat. We found this quite unacceptable in such weather. Housekeeping was inconsistent—beds were often not made unless we asked, and restaurant service was very slow. We regularly had to ask for our table to be cleared and cleaned. We did enjoy some aspects of the hotel, but the lack of responsiveness and basic maintenance issues really need to be addressed to improve the guest experience.
