Staff and facility were great. The two ladies at the front desk were very helpful and courteous. A pay raise may be in order!

Safe was extremely kind and helpful. It was conveniently off the highway. Lots of food options around. Breakfast was very tasty. Overall very happy with our stay.

Not pleased
I traveled 8 hours to meet my daughter halfway to drop my granddaughter off to her. We arrive right at 3 (left home at 4 am to get there at check-in so we could spend the day swimming) the pool was like an ice bath. Extremely cold for an indoor pool. The heater was broken. The first room we were in had a leak in the toilet and soaked my clothes that were on the floor while I showered. They moved us to a second room the had a horrible cigarette smell to it. The front desk moved us to a third room and told me to call her and left her know if the room was ok and when I went to call, the phone in the room didn’t work. Highly upset that I paid what I did for one night and wasn’t able to spend the day at the pool swimming.

I’m truly sorry that your stay was disrupted by several issues: the pool being cold, the leaky toilet, the cigarette odor in the second room, and an inoperative phone. While we strive to ensure everything functions properly, mechanical failures like a broken heater are sometimes beyond our immediate control even though our system still showed the water temperature at 75°F . Nonetheless, that doesn’t excuse how it impacted your experience. I apologize for the inconveniences you faced during your stay.

Clean and Friendly Staff
We actually booked here last minute after immediately checking out of another hotel in Calhoun (first time I’ve ever had to do that due to cleanliness) Holiday Inn was exextactly what you’d expect clean great staff and good breakfast.

Incompetent front desk staff (including manager). Room was clean but dingy. AC in room did not work properly. Patched holes in tile in shower. I’m not sure the AC in most of the hotel worked (hallways and elevators were very warm). Ladies making and putting out breakfast were very nice.
Would not recommend this hotel and will never stay at this location again.

We have family in the area and we’ve stayed at other hotels but the Holiday Inn is the best. It’s clean, the rooms are nice. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is really good with multiple options. We try to stay here every time we’re in town

Fast and easy check-in was appreciated since we’ve been on the road for 7.5 hours. Great rooms and clean comfy bed/pillows.
