Vedaarany Haveli was an absolute delight. The Haveli is lavishly decorated with murals, antiques, and local crafts and our room was quirky but comfortable with small windows looking out across the central courtyard. However we spent most of our time sitting downstairs in the quiet courtyard. Meals can be taken here or in the small dining room. The food was outstanding. Savita the cook would begin pounding and frying spices hours before mealtime and the result was a delicious Rajasthani vegetarian thali - with a different array of vegetables, dals, breads and pickles every meal. The breakfasts were huge with more chickoo and papaya than we could eat. We were also able to arrange a car and tour of nearby Mandawa and a tour of Ramgarh with the wonderful guide Kavita.

A very warm and cosy haveli offering warm hospitality. An informative Heritage walk was organised by them wherein they took us to a number of temples , cenotaphs and havelis. Meals comprised of thaali of typical regional cuisine, home cooked by their in house chefs.

Vedaaranya Haveli was absolutely delightful. The gorgeous Haveli is full of stunning murals and decorative details. The service is friendly and efficient and the vegetarian thalis freshly prepared by the cook Savita are delicious. We had different varieties each night although they did remember our favourites. Anjou, the manager arranged a walking tour of Ramgarh with a guide Priyanka whose knowledge and professionalism added to a very enjoyable experience.

A fascinating stay at a fascinating place. The haveli experience (with modern amenities) was totally unexpected. The tranquil atmosphere, old world air, coupled withe fantastic food and courteous and attentive staff was worthe trip. A small library will give something to read to those who want to while away their time. A heritage walk highlights the virtually unknown world of the havelis. This is more of a stay at home than a homestay.

Key problems were that hotel wasn’t in the town advertised (it was in Ramgarh and not Fatehpur as advertised) and nor was the room we were allocated anywhere near the size or standard of the one advertised. We felt very let down with what we felt was a very basic and seriously overpriced room. Some other aspects of what was advertised also turned out to be inaccurate. On the positive side, this was the only hotel we used in Rajasthan that was run by women. We were also grateful for the assistance provided by the manager Anju who was helpful on a number of fronts.

I had a fantastic stay at Vedaaranya Haveli. I felt safe as a solo traveller. I was offered a guided heritage tour with a great knowledgeable guide, it was fabulous. Most of the staff are delightful. Anju is beautiful and kind and makes you feel very comfortable. I was feeling unwell when i arrived and I was looked after and was able to recuperate quickly. If you have the opportunity, definitely visit this beautiful place, don't hesitate. The story behind this town is so heart-warming like a lot of stories in India. It was a love story of the kings wife refusing to eat or drink until the king made the most beautiful town in Rajasthan. Which he did.
我无法入住我预订的住宿,因为它已完全翻新。我很惊讶***没有提前通知我。
