I stayed with family 26-31 Dec and we occupied three rooms across two floors yet we had a common experience. There's a bunch of stuff like TVs and AC units that didn't work, and the staff was generally hopeless in the sense you'd ask for something and they'd commit to bringing it to the room and it would never arrive. But, these were lesser problems. The main problem is this place is filthy! I cannot understate this. I travel quite extensively and it was the most unclean place I have stayed at, anywhere . . . in the world. Let me give you a series of examples: all three of our bathrooms showed no signs of having been cleaned in quite some time. They were all caked in soap scum (hopefully) on the floors and walls. We had two towels, one damp, the other damp and dirty because it was left from the previous occupant! In the stairwells there were the same piles of both organic and inorganic garbage there the whole time we were there. The same bags of dirty laundry sat in the corridor for the duration of our stay. The same cigarette butts and assorted bits of rubbish also littered the corridors for the duration of our stay. Finished room service sat in the corridors for days in some cases. At one point, the "owner" suggested we should dine at the on-site Hotel Restaurant - The Charcoal Chimney. We declined because given the filthy state of the rest of the hotel, there was no reason to presume the kitchen would be any different and I didn't want to kill any family members! There's a couple of reasons I am labouring this review. The first is that there are a number of reviews on ******* from September 2025 that seem to alternate between dismal for the reasons I have listed and excellent. Places cannot be both filthy and clean at the same time so that makes me question the integrity of some of the reviews relating to this place. Secondly, after each dismal review is a response from the hotel committing to do better. I'd have thought that if you were following through on your commitments, cleaning and tidying would be quite simple things to correct. The fact that they remain such big problems tells me the commitments are nothing more than words, with no corresponding action. Steer clear of this place, it really is a health hazard!

need to be improve cleaning... your toilet seats your water tap too much dirty... properties good location... food also good... but cleaning bad....

Loved the peaceful vibe here. The rooms were well-kept, neat and clean, and so close to the Taj Mahal.
