Absolutely love the property, we love this hotel as a staycation and it’s a perfect getaway from Sacramento. The only downside of our recent stay it’s the service at the pool area, we were charged a 21%room service everytime we ordered + the service was very slow. Overall we love staying at this location and this may be a one-of experience.

Our family had wonderful stays two weekends in a row, as we were visiting for horses shows. The location close to the horse park is super convenient, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the accomodations were nice.

Although pricey, it was very elegant and relaxed. The grounds and room were beautiful and spotless. The staff went out of their way to treat everyone as VIP's! It was a wonderful!!

Great hotel in the middle of horse country.
If you are into anything equestrian, this is the place for you. We are not, but went there for some peace and relaxation. We got that. We had two great massages from truly amazing therapists.
The food is outstanding at the Gate restaurant, but watch out of you can't tolerate salt. Some items were way over-salted. But if you ask them for no salt, things are amazing. Well prepared and thought-out dishes. Great, fresh ingredients.
Rooms are good size, and quiet. They need to wash the insides of the windows, as we found them gritty.
Beds are hit or miss. We had 3, and one was wonderful. The other two were a bit old and sunken-in.
The spa does not have sauna, steam, or hot tub/jacuzzi. But if you want a facial (wife got one), or to get your hair done, this is the place.
A couple restaurants across the street, but it's really in the middle of nowhere. So, no touristy things to do outside the hotel.
