The pillows and mattress are the hardest I have slept on. They fleece customers. It's a very badly maintained houseboat. Even if you stay there, do not ask them to get you taxis or Shikara rides because they charge more than the going rate. For instance, we paid Rs 2500 for a Shikara ride worth Rs 500. We didn't know we had been cheated till later. The walls between rooms are so thin that you can hear everything that people talk in the next room. So, there is absolutely no privacy. The toilets also don't flush properly. Hot water is available only for a couple of hours in the morning. They overcharge for rooms too... different rates for different people. Best avoided
