This is the 2nd time I've stayed at the Hampton in Stroud and both times it was very clean, the staff was very helpful, and the room was great. Normally i stay with family in Stroud but very happy to have this option when needed.

After spending a few nights in decrepit motels (Best Western seems to have a lot of those) my husband and I were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of Hampton Inn. The room was spacious with comfortable mattress and pillows, quiet mini fridge, outstanding bathroom (there was a dual shower head!). Very clean and well taken care of. We would definitely stay there again.

POSITIVES: All around the hotel was nice. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was decent as well as the breakfast area was very clean and upkept, AND the breakfast attendant was SUPER sweet. The beds were super comfy, and the rooms were spacious, and clean. They were very accommodating to us and our softball team. The pool is a pretty small, but they have nice patio areas to sit outside at.
NEGATIVES: I reserved two rooms, one would think they'd be side by side... Nope, they were on two different floors, which was pretty inconvenient. One had the door coming off the hinges for the bathroom and it wouldn't close properly at all. The inside the elevator was very dirty, as well as skeptical as the lights flickered and it shut off multiple times. When we told the front desk, they just brushed it off. There was lots of trash in the parking lot and the parking wasn't the most convenient when construction workers decided to park all their vehicles sideways.....
All in all for a small town, and the area it served it's purpose, and I would stay again.

The ceiling was extremely high, bathroom top notch (including the anti-fog sensor on the mirror), furnishings very nice --- I did not expect the room to be so nice. The entire front entrance is welcoming, large, and what you'd expect for a higher-end hotel. I didn't feel I paid a higher-end price for my room. A gem, people.

I was at this hotel in late July and one of the elevators was out of service. We used the same hotel again about 3 weeks later and the same elevator was out of service. It appears the elevator was out of service the entire 3 weeks and we don't know how long before that. If.the one working elevator went out , we would be lugging luggage up and douw the stairs.

Very cute and clean
My husband and I stayed here for one night on our way to MO. Easy reservations, with great prices and location. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the hotel was very clean and cozy. Plus you get a free pet rock!

Nice clean hotel.
Convenient location right off i-44. We stayed there one night. The hotel was clean and served its purpose for the night. Good selection for breakfast.
