Incredible value for money. Great bed, good breakfast, short walk to the ruims, close to restaurants, lovely clean pool to cool down in after a hot afternoon at the Ruins/Unesco site. And most importantly, the loveliest couple as my host. With interest in me. Advising me on possible destinations, even drawing the maps and the family photos out. And while the hostess practised her English, I got to practise my Spanish. The easiest decision to stick around this place a little bit longer than anticipated.

A lovely, very small and simple hotel in the heart of San Ignacio just a short walk from the ruins of San Ignacio Mini. All rooms open onto the pool area, which is very compact. The rooms have screens in the windows and are very clean. A/C worked well. Breakfast was fruit and bread. Very nice innkeeper. Not sure about the cafe and bar; seems like it was operational but not sure. It was incredibly hot when we were there so not many people were sitting around.
