We have now stayed at this wonderful B & B on a number of occasions. I have said in previous reviews just how perfect it is. The room, the breakfast (loads of choice), the atmosphere, but most of all, the wonderful welcome. Guests want for nothing as Mandy ensures her guests have everything they need to make their stay an enjoyable one. There is nothing better to start your day than to stand at your bedroom window and to look out over the fabulous garden. A beautiful fountain in the pond, a wooden bridge and tables and chairs in various places. Later in the day you can enjoy sitting in the garden enjoying a cup of coffee and some of Mandy's delicious baking which is readily available all afternoon. This truly is a magical place where both Mandy and Kevin make their guests feel so welcome that they want to return again and again.

The welcome and the hospitality throughout our stay was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble for our Mandy in order to make sure our stay was of the highest calibre. The room was extremely comfortable, beautifully furnished, and elegant. It was very spacious, quiet, and spotlessly clean. We had a great view over the lovely garden. The vegan/ vegetarian breakfasts were outstanding. Thank you to our hosts Mandy and Kevin for making such an effort! The success of our trip to Northumberland was undoubtedly due to the high quality accommodation we booked. We can't wait to return!

We have stayed here for years and it has always been exceptional when we have visited. This time, having been recently diagnosed with celiac Mandy provided an excellent and creative range of gluten free options for breakfast. She even managed to source gluten free chocolate muffins which were a real treat. We stayed in the Mackintosh room which had lovely views of the garden.

We have been staying at Mandy’s wonderful guest house for at least the last 12 years. It is definitely a home from home for us and Mandy and Kevin make us feel so welcome. Beautiful house and gardens, superb rooms with every need catered for and a first class breakfast. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else and have already booked for next year! Highly recommended.

Wow I must admit to thinking so many excellent reviews meant his was probably a special B&B and they were all correct. This is a large Victorian house on the edge of Warkworth. It has ample off street parking at the front and a stunning terraced garden with a pond at the rear. You enter through a large conservatory with lovely large geraniums, in flower when we visited. The ground floor has a large guests lounge and a dining room plus outside a covered seating area to enjoy the garden. Our room , Morris room, was on the first floor up a large and in imposing staircase. It was spacious with a large double bed, chairs, wardrobe and drink making facilities. Through a door was the en-suite with shower over the bath. The whole place oozed elegance and luxury. To continue with the excellence there were freshly baked cakes in the hall. Breakfast was served in the dining room and you put your order in for the cooked part the night before. On the first morning we both had smashed avocado with small sweet chillies, roast tomatoes and lime. It came with a poached egg but we did not have this. On the second morning we had French toast with compote and maple syrup. Both days the breakfasts were tasty, ample and luxurious. The hosts Mandy and her partner were friendly helpful and made sure we had a comfortable stay with everything we wished for.

This must be one of the best guesthouses in the UK. A stunning house with an amazing garden. The host, Mandy, contacted me on the morning of my stay to apologise for being out when I was due to arrive but she said that she would leave a key, coffee and cakes for me. My room was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed and a huge ensuite bathroom with bath and overhead shower. A wide choice of food to suit all tastes was available at breakfast. I only stayed one night but would have been very happy to stay longer.

This guesthouse is awesome! The room we stayed in was just lovely, with lots of attention to details and luxurious touches. The garden is beautiful and it was great to have a beautiful sitting room to use as well. The food was without doubt the best breakfast I've had out of the many guesthouses in which I've stayed. Mandy is a wonderful hostess and I really hope I will be able to stay there again in the future. The village of Warkworth is lovely and has several great options for dinner.

We were greeted with a warm welcome by Mandy who offered to help with our luggage. The house was warm and cosy. Mandy then made us a coffee and showed us how the coffee maker in the hall worked. We sat in the lounge downstairs which was beautifully furnished and devoured her home made cake which I wished I had asked for the recipe. We were only here for one night but we will definitely stay again as our room was perfect. Apart from the comfortable bed, the furnishings were very tasteful. Mandy had thought of everything from a sewing kit, cotton wool, lint remover to a corkscrew. The bathroom was enormous and the whole place was warm and relaxing. Breakfast was good, my husband had the full English and I had the toasted bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon. When we return we will definitely have a walk around the beautiful garden, and enjoy the flowers in the conservatory that wraps around the house.

One of the loveliest places I’ve ever stayed! The house is absolutely beautiful and the hosts are wonderful. Our room was cosy and had everything we could have needed. Breakfast was superb - the best cinnamon toast I’ve ever had by a mile! Hope to be back soon.

WOW. We arrived late at 7pm due to car trouble, it was dark and drizzling but Mandy the owner was waiting for us with a warm welcome, and dairy intolerance substitute for tea. From the entrance filled with a huge array of pink and red geraniums, up the majestic wide wooden staircase with charming modern art into a truly delightful room, in restful shades of cream and grey I couldn't have been more happier. Advise of close places to eat was given and we nipped out again for a quick pub dinner. The mattress was like a cloud and I had a wonderful, quiet nights sleep. Breakfast was wonderful as well - 5star all the way - I just wish I lived closer so I could visit again.
