This was my second time at the hotel and got a room in the annexe, called Chanakya Tower. The entry is through a side entrance, although you can go through the main building, but only via certain floors. It was election season in Bihar and rooms were full, I checked on mail and got a “confirmation”. When I landed at the hotel, there was no “reservation” because the mail also said “we are sold out”, which I had missed!! Thankfully, they found me a room, number 526, from what I remember, although for 2 days. It was the corner room with windows on two sides — a big improvement over the windowless room that I had stayed in a few years ago! The room and the bathroom are in urgent need of renovation, especially the bathroom. The service was slow but food in the restaurant was good. But then the hotel was overbooked for the election. The health club was good. Given the location it was easy to commute and the stay was nice.

This is very good experience with hotel chankya Parna. Service staff are excellent. Specially rina Singh and Ravi Kumar doing excellent job like room cleaning and service.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with attentive staff who made us feel comfortable right away. The food was flavorful and well-presented, especially the [mutton]. Service was quick, and the portions were generous without compromising on quality. Overall, a great spot for both casual meals and special occasions—I’d definitely recommend it and look forward to returning.

We wanted to have a small family function comprising Havan, Puja & Lunch.We were on the lookout for a suitable venue for about 65 elderly people. And after deliberations we chose the Darbar Hall of Hotel Chanakya in Patna. We contacted the concerned people and booked this hall for August 17, 2025 from 10 am to 2 pm. Mr Mukesh of Chanakya gave his personal assurance that we will have no cause to worry. When we came we were greatly surprised to see the lavish arrangements made with Mr Mukesh & his team in constant attendance giving fabulously personalized service. Everything went off beautifully and the Lunch was a gourmet's delight of Vegetarian items! Chanakya gets the full marks on every front!
