First time staying here and probably not the last. Comfortable room (room 4) overlooking the back of the property was a peaceful sanctuary. The owners, Alison and Dave, were very hospitable and friendly. Breakfasts were plentiful and a tasty way to start the day. The location was ideal for us as we were in the area to spend time with friends in nearby Milltimber.

We spent a couple of nights with the friendly hosts of the Furain guesthouse. It was a lovely, clean room at the front of the house with nice comfortable beds and breakfast was excellent. A good central location for touring the area or visiting Aberdeen, we would happily stay again.

What a lovely experience-Allison and her husband were so friendly and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was delicious!

Very comfortable and clean. Hosts friendly and welcoming. On a main road but my room was very quiet. Lovely breakfast with fresh fruit salad and perfectly cooked bacon and egg. Off street parking was a bonus. I’m looking forward to a return visit.

A lovely property and well run as a guesthouse. My bed was very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. Room was very well equipped. Breakfast was delicious with good quality produce which was extremely well cooked. All the good reviews are well deserved.

We again had a very enjoyable weekend at the Furain, thanks to our lovely hosts! Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious, with a good shower and lovely views, whilst the breakfast was excellent, with a wider range than usual to choose from. (We had the full Scottish, and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon - both highly recommended!)

2nd time staying with Dave and Alison while we visit family close by. Never fails to make us feel welcome, beautifully appointed rooms, clean and inviting, well serviced with amenities. Very comfortable nights stay, lovely food and service in the mornings. Will be back again soon on our next visit up in Peterculter.

A wonderful place to stay. The room was lovely and the bed incredibly comfortable, the couple who run it are very friendly, and the breakfast is delicious. It's always our first choice in the Aberdeen area and we'd recommend it to anyone. Reasonably priced too! What more do you need!

We were lucky enough to get a room at the Furain Guest House Bed & Breakfast in April 2023. Our room was lovely! The hosts were nothing short of so very acommodating. Parking on the premise is not consistenly possible but we were advised to park just around the corner. Quite safe and lots of availability. Also within walking distance to a great place to eat withing easy walking distance of the B & B, advice of the hosts who did call ahead for availability and reservations ( which are a must, even week days). They were so kind to call for us the first time. The breakfast was so good, hot and a lovely area to breakfast in. Hosts are so very helpful with advice on ;retty much anything a tourist could want to know. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!! If you'd also like to, book well ahead.

Lovely! I could end it there but might as well explain. I was doing a solo motorcycle tour of the area, and the location was pretty much perfect. Alison and Dave were great hosts, and their assistant Stanley was gorgeous! The room was perfect for my very wet bike clothing, plenty of room and plenty of hanging space. The room was superb, as was the ensuite. The breakfast was great, and service was quick, no need to go through the menu for day two and three, "same again, please Alison" and it arrived shortly after. Certainly my first choice for future travels in the area if I'm going luxury - I'm normally found in a tent but recent wet trips are definitely converting me to guest houses reinforced by the great experience at Furain.
