My parents, my sister and I wend to the restaurant, their service and the vibe it gave with music and decoration was extremely good, the food and drink ware for the price really high quality and tasted insane with good sauce combo's. It was a phenomenal dinner!

not enjoy my 4 night stay. No wonder they made me pay upon arrival! a sign I should have taken note of. In retrospect, I should have asked for a refund and left. Cold shower, noisy neighbours as the walls are so thin and the owner not friendly at all (although he “fake” tries). When I asked very politely about the cold shower, they never responded to me on Whatsapp. I had to have 3 interactions with different staff to be able to get the situation sorted, 2 days later. I agreed to changing rooms and told them I would be back later that day from a tour. When I arrived, they had packed and moved all my belongings without my knowledge. It felt like an invasion of privacy. They forgot to pack my headphones and 3 different staff came to see me the next day to ask if I forgot them ?!?!?!? I did not forget them, you didn’t pack them when deciding to move all my personal belongings! I also did not having toilet paper for 2 days and having to buy my own as they provided almost empty roll upon arrival and were never to be found on site, when needed. There was a general lack of information or interest in making the guest comfortable. it didn’t feel homey at all. The place has so much potential if they hire more people (one poor lady is handling all cleaning, breakfast, laundry and managing guests so I am not surprised when she can’t do her job as well) and respond quickly to guest issues. Almost looked like exploitation. Breakfast is poor. Cat jumps on the tables (super unsanitary). Do NOT recommend.

Antawara went above and beyond to make us feel welcome from the minute we walked in. They are accommodating, so friendly and helpful, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The whole hostel feels really peaceful and safe — a perfect base for exploring the Elqui Valley :-) thanks again for having us! A wonderful start to the new year.

Delightful hostel - really a low key hotel. We visited clearly in low season and saw mostly a time where it was half occupied. The pool was excellent to cool off in, and the whole grounds are cleaned every morning. We shared in a dorm room of 6, facilities were excellent with a good shower, and also great storage. The common area was sufficient, and had good wifi, and Netflix available on the TV. Breakfast was included, and we had juice, tea/coffee, bread, butter, eggs, avacado, and cheese/ham. For 10,000-13000 CLP a night this place is an absolute steal, and solidified by excellent, friendly service. We will absolutely be back, if we ever find ourselves in Vicuna again. Laundy was also available on site, and ready in 24 hours.
