Property itself was fine. When we checked into our room, we found the toilet seat had about fallen off, and the lighted mirror in the bathroom did not work. In our two days there, no one came to fix the problems, after we had reported it.
In addition, the furniture in the lobby dining area is really dirty and worn out.

The gentleman that checked us into our room was very accommodating. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. We were upgraded to a king bed with seating area. There was always someone cleaning in the common areas. The breakfast was well stocked, hot foods were kept hot, and always plenty of coffee. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. Was a great stay and I would book here again.

The front desk staff was very nice. I have stayed there a couple times and will always go back to this hotel just because of the staff and the hotel is nice.

8/28-9/1/25 visit. After a 15hr drive, we were early but the mgr Sam said to come back in 1-1/2 and we can check in. We came back 3hrs later and the room was not ready- it was past check in. I asked Sam why he didn’t let the cleaning person know perhaps to skip a room to clean our room. First thing out of Sam‘s mouth was that he can give us a refund and basically we could go elsewhere. Angerly not in the mood, we took the room 106. I took pictures of the condition of the room and expressed severe dissatisfaction. Mgr Sam said again he can give us a refund and can go elsewhere. Room 106 the room wall shared the kitchen area that staff were banging and talking loud @ 6-7am each day. At check out, Mgr Sam did not ask how our stay was, nor said thank you. When I mentioned about the wall ordeal he gave no apologies nor expressed concern. We stayed at this hotel when it was new (2016) to see how poor they treated us, and how the condition of the room was. It’s sad that this hotel is starting on a downward fall. I personally believe it’s because of poor management like Sam. We visit Fam every other year and sadly will no longer stay here.

Our room was not the best, we asked to be moved by the front desk said they were almost booked out, after telling her why we wanted to move she made us feel like we were being a problem. From the headboard being scratched up, to the bottom of the sink being rusted and the shower curtain not being able to stay closed because the bar was falling off the wall. They need to fix this room.

Totally unprofessional
Was unable to provide receipt that indicated cost of the room. Receipt indicated all zeros. Desk worker was clueless, showed little or no interest in providing the receipt. Have stayed at hundreds of hotels and have been able to get a cost of stay receipt. You just lost a customer.

Really like this place. Second stay there. Very clean and nice room. Only downfall is the headboards fake leather are cracking and showing wear which is a shame because everything else is very nice. I will definitely stay here again!! Quite,pool,good breakfast

When we first checked in we were give a room on the top floor at the end of the hallway. As soon as I opened the door, I could immediately feel heat pouring out as the air conditioner was turned off and absolutely no air was circulating. August in Texas is very hot and this room was unbearable. We turned the AC on, but the room was just not cooling. The man at the front desk was very helpful about putting us into a different room. This room had the AC running upon entry and felt a million times more comfortable. After that little snafu, we had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean, the property was quiet, and breakfast was very nice. My only (very minor) complaint is that I wish the pillows were better. They were pretty small and flat, but other than that I would recommend this hotel!
