The property offered a clean and safe place to sleep. It is indeed very simple. My room had a pot for steaming water, but no in room coffee or tea. The price was very reasonable, and reflected the no frill option. For me, Id be willing to up the budget next time for more on site ammenities. The Simple represents good value for a no frills stay.

I’d give it 4.5/5. We stayed at The Simple for four nights over Christmas. The host Jackie s very helpful & you couldn’t ask for a better host. We stayed with our 2 children & apart from them wanting a swimming pool we had a lovely Christmas here. It is very central to the town with 7-11, restaurants and shops. As has been said the beach isn’t close but we hired scooters and enjoyed exploring. The island is nice and quiet. They have a sister resort which is on the beach & there’s a free shuttle to and from. Definitely worth spending at least a day there. There’s something about Koh Yao Noi that got under our skin. There are other islands with more turquoise waters but we loved the island’s chilled atmosphere. It wasn’t touristy, which probably helped. I would recommend to anyone. It is simple but sometimes in life that is not a bad thing. Clean simple rooms with good Wi fi & nice and quiet. I slept well here.
