Room was great. Breakfast Saturday morning was very good. Not quite as good Sunday morning. I missed the scrambled eggs, but everything else was fine.

Hotel was very clean and neat. Customer service was pretty good. Had lots of issues with the door locks and a couple other technical things because of a lightning strike that mess some things up for the hotel. But I’d would definitely stay there again

Holiday Inn Express Gainesville GA
The WiFi, tvs, and elevators were all out due to a lightning strike earlier in the week. When we arrived there was no AC in the stairwell or hallways in August in GA. Breakfast service was a little awkward with employees standing in front of the food discussing how to serve it. There were several signs missing. The water dispenser in the juice machine was out and there wasn’t any water offered in the lobby like there usually is. When we asked for water we were offered a cup for tap water from the bathroom before they finally decided we could have a “free” water bottle. We are usually really happy with Holiday Inn Express, but this was a disappointment. There was no one at the counter when we checked out to discuss our concerns with.

Poor Stay...Do better!
The staff was friendly however, unfortunately, that was the only positive from our stay there. We had to move rooms because there was a small black jumping bug that jumped on my daughter when she sat on the bed. Then the next morning the guy doing the food, was slow to get food out. They did not have hardly anything out to choose from even though they has plenty of space for all the food options. We waited over 35mis for him to replace the pancake batter bag, which he never did. I would not stay here again which is unfortunate because I usually enjoy staying at Holiday Inn Expresses.
