We stayed at the presidential suite. I took a towel put it on the floor and scooted my feet and it came up black. We called up. They came out to clean it with a swiffer. I said that won’t work you had to do all the floors. After they cleaned it it was better, but it was still dirty. I tried to clean the whirlpool for five days with bleach and cleaners and could not get the crap out of the pipes. I removed the cover from the whirlpool, and there was mold under the whirlpool. The door to the toilet would not shut because it hit the door jam only about three doors in the whole room would close. The handle on one of the faucets fell off. The staff showed up and no one could speak English. They had to use their phone to translate. You can see in the one photo they repaired some copper, but never addressed the mold under the whirlpool.

The resort is very nice but the Internet is very spotty, our Verizon data was also very spotty. The TVs are old and can't stream anything. The satellite would freeze constantly while watching TV. The indoor pool was really nice, there were plenty of activities to do on the resort.

Old outdated timeshare. Very noisy. You hear every foot step from the unit above, as well as every toilet flush and shower running. Outdated hot tub bath in master bedroom. Needs a shower. Outside of building was dirty and needed a cleaning.

Great for all sports, most are free less the water type. Isolated so a car is a must, but the staff are great and work hard in a tired resort. We had the older type unit (2) which lacked noise prevention from other loud guests from above but it was workable. Weird wooden furniture but all usable. Inside pool very chlorinated.

Overall pleasant. Staff was courteous. Facilities generally clean. A trolley or golf cart would help to get around the expansive property. Villas in dire need of basic updating.

This was a family gathering as we traveled from different states and met here. Our villas were great, the two pools and hot tub were everything we needed to relax and enjoy. Activity center has everything you want for games, videos putt putt golf and more. This area is filled with great restaurants and things to see. We spent 1 day in Chicago enjoying the double decker bus guided tour and the evening boat tour on the Chicago River. Make sure to have dinner at Hanks Farm Restaurant which is only open for dinner. This is a must do and see the grounds around the farm. Also Starve Rock park offers so many outdoor opportunities to enjoy. Highly recommend you check out Fox River Resort and all there is to enjoy.

This resort was in a very peaceful area. The staff tried hard to keep the area clean and the customer service was impressive!

This used to be a great place. They are closing and selling because of financial difficulties. Don’t stay here and don’t buy any of their properties. They are not putting anything into the property but are charging owners more and more to cover their bad decisions. Sorry to see it come to this because we had many great family times here.
