Exceeded my expectations of a good and comfortable stay. The Bunga was adequately furnished , clean and functional. The services provided and attention given by staff, specially Hemanta Goswami was praiseworthy. The owner , Pravinbhai was helpful. All in all, a great time spent.

This place is right within Dholavira and very near to excavation site. Right from our balcony I could see the dazzling water from khadir pet and you can take a night walk into rann. There was patches of salt since water had dried up and in early morning we could see pelicans at a distance. The property is well maintained though food is not delicious, its very basic but its fine given this is a very remote area and a sensitive too owing to border being close by.The sunset point is also not too far from the resort. Also they had arranged some local kutchii musicians.Local songs coupled with bonfire had made the evening a very enjoyable one.

A dump of a place to stay, and there is nothing good to say except for the location. The place is small. A bunch of room/cottages around a small rectangular courtyard. A musty dining area where you have to fight for a table or an empty cup for your tea. This place is not a 3 star as advertised, but a 1 star. We found a terrible toilet in our room like it had been put together by a middle school kid. The geyser didn't work. We returned after our trip to see the Rann and found someone sleeping outside our room in the open. Noisy clientele, and we were disappointed in our Indian travel agent boarding us here. Most of the photos on the site are misleadingly beautiful

酒店回复: Thank you for your review, 1st I want to clarify that this lovely guest didnt even know the basic of toilet. He dont know how to flush the toilet when metropole is there he is complaining about the toilet tank, Secondly when there is rush hours the restautant area ofcourse will be full and sitting place is limited like other restautarnt. When your in village area and experincing village ,the person next to your room want to experince the village life so he slept outside under the star whats the problem than. Your room have both option of gyser & solar water heater my room service boy explained both that solar water will be in morning if u want bath at night use gyser and also gyser hot water in tap only not in shower. You used a word that other client/guest are poor quality ,u dont have right to say anyone a poor quality client.. Pls dont misguide our traveller about the property all the photos & place is fine as all can see in other reviews. In an all thi gentalman demanded a Refund for there stay when it is clearly said that the place is rural area dont compare with city life.. Thank you

Before we could even reach the resort, our car broke down a few kms earlier. We called the resort and asked if they have a car, and we were surprised when the owner himself came to pick us up about 5 kms from the hotel. Then, we got a free upgrade for all of our 3 rooms! the rooms were nice and clean. The food at the hotel was basic local food, but it was good. We hired a jeep to take us to fossil park and sunset and that was an awesome experience! the driver was very nice and showed us around and even took us to his relatives' hotel for tea and refused to charge us. Later, the owner had arranged for a stargazing with a great telescope for everyone at the hotel free of charge! That was an unforgettable experience! Overall, a great stay in the hotel, with great experience from all the staff and especially Pravinbhai.

When you book a room at 10k+ plus you expect some basic things - a kettle (winters are cold), easily available hot water and a decent spread of food. These are clear areas of improvement for this establishment. We stayed in Rajwadi suite which by itself is quite nice. The veranda is generous, probably larger than the room itself. The washroom was a let down with no toiletries and poor quality geyser. The food was quite poor, often too oily and overcooked. It felt like random people from around the village were recruited as cooks. Throughout our trip, we ate at many simple joints and were in love with Gujarati thali which was offered at dirt cheap prices. The food here was just very ordinary. We were not looking for some big spread or fancy stuff. We ended up eating at Evoke which was much nicer. The service is friendly but bordering cavalier. We needed hot water for one of the kids who developed sore throat, and we were told it will be available after someone comes back to make hot water. I don’t know what this even means but basically there is no one around the clock to help if you need help. It is needless to say we were not really happy with this place. We had booked 7 rooms for our large group. When I compare this to our stay at Jaisalmer Desert Camp, it would be nothing short of a tragedy. We loved Dholavira but our stay at this resort was very very average for the price we paid very disappointing. I would not pay more than 4K for this place.

酒店回复: Dear Sir Thank you for your review. I dont know what your travelled agent charged you but our charges are lower than what you said. If u say about our food quality than i disagree as our gujarati thali is famous in dholavira .and when you compare with evoke than its 5star property and the client of evoke came to us for lunch & dinner. May be you are travelling and eat at many places gujarati thali than you may feel not good as its repetative. Next When the property is full and much crowded some services may be not on the spot but we serve as much possible as we can.. Im toilet we have shower & shampoo bottles & handwash bottle. Gysers are small agree but as the water quality is hard it takes time to get hot.. understand the Place Dholavira & the situation around it. Dont compare with city area and developed area here people still not get water to drink.hope you understand the situation. Thanks

The price v/s the property does not match. but, knowing the tourist season is only a few months & on the slat pans the wear & tear plus the maintenance & upkeep charges for them would be quite high. The hut that was given to us was very spacious & would easily accommodate 4 adults. The food is very healthy, hygienic & tasty to the local taste & preparation. do not expect a la carte kind service & range of food; however, the staff here will go out of their way to keep you comfortable. Do not ignore any sight-seeing suggestions from the hotel staff; it's worth a lifetime of memories.
