Room was clean and we were able to take our German shepherd in with us. No problems with the hotel the outside just isn’t overly appealing

Besides the road noise from the freeway and the freezing cold water in the pool, we were very happy with the hotel and the staff we encountered.

The hotel overall wasn’t bad, my issues was with the room room 228. First the air condition wasn’t working right and the temperature display wasn’t fully displaying. Secondly, the bathroom door wouldn’t close from inside. Even from outside someone had to mess around with it for a few seconds to have it stay shut. Next the water was draining very slowly while taking a shower. Lastly the pull handle for the shower wouldn’t work properly to divert the water to the shower head. Had to play with it at least 3 times to work right. Of course at checkout nobody there to talk to about the issues above. I checked in at almost 10pm so I didn’t have the energy to deal with the problems for a one night stay.

These are really nice rooms overall.
I didn’t like the shampoo and conditioner fragrance - really strong. I had to use the bar soap - which was more pleasant to wash out the smell of the other. So for someone with sensitivities - beware.
The close door was damaged and patched but it looked really tacky.

Everything was wet or damp. The floor, the towels, the smell was musty and damp. It was so uncomfortable because everything you touched was damp. The carpet, beds, sheets, even towels. Different smells outside room and inside room and both were bad. We paid for 2 nights but only stayed one.

We arrived at 1:10 & our room was ready but because it wasn’t 2:00 we had to pay $20 to check in! I have NEVER experienced that!

Is this the most amazing hotel you will ever stay in? Of course not. But if you want a nice comfortable room on a quiet clean property for an affordable price, this works really well. The room was just as pictured. Everything worked well...air conditioning, refrigerator and shower (hot water and good water pressure). If you just need a place to hang your head at night, you'd can't do much better. Also, the breakfast was better than most at comparable hotels. I feel like whoever is managing this place is focused on getting the details right.
