I stayed at this hotel for one night in December 2025 before going to stay in another part of the country. I loved the hotel and would stay here again. Below are some quick highlights: Check in process: The check in process was smooth. The room was ready as I told them that I would be a late arrival. Airport pick up: The hotel offered to pick us up from the airport but that did not work. I had trouble connecting with the driver and ended up taking a taxi. If you don’t have too much luggage, you can easily walk from the airport to the hotel. Room type: One bedroom suite with a mini refrigerator and no microwave (there is one downstairs should you need one) Price: approximately $350USD (Note – in my opinion, hotel prices seem to be a bit high in Guyana) Views - Various: nearby field and airport Room appearance: Beautiful!!! The room was very clean, large and spacious. It has a separate sleeping and living area with a small kitchenette and dining space. We had a very nice welcome gift (cheese, crackers, snacks – very thoughtful and very much appreciated). I would opt for this type of room if I had to stay for a few days. Bed: This is one of the most comfortable beds that I have experienced. I am not sure of the name of the brand but it’s amazing!!!! Bathroom: Overall great. Nice size with double sinks. Very nice water pressure. Food: Ate at the hotel restaurant. I am not sure that there is much else nearby unless you go over to the airport. The food at the hotel restaurant was great. I enjoyed the eggs and hashbrown for breakfast. Neary by activities: I didn’t get to explore the nearby area, but I think that the closest activities are on the main road where there are nearby food trucks etc. It’s not too far from the hotel but I would opt to take a car as opposed to walking. Summary of my experience The hotel was really nice. I was there near the holidays and it was well decorated. It was incredibly clean. It's very new and therefore very well maintained. I didn't see too many guests in the hallways etc. For the most part, I only saw guest in the restaurant area. I could not tell if it was a very busy hotel or not. I would guess that it was at least moderately full. I had breakfast the next morning. Our reservation came with a free breakfast. I thought that it was the buffet breakfast, but I was incorrect (I believe that it is one of the continental breakfasts. I suggest asking before beginning to eat). In the end I ordered al-a-carte. The food was warm. delicious and tasty. I also had lunch at the same restaurant. Lunch at the restaurant was equally enjoyable. I saw a lot of empty plates when I walked to my table. Most people seemed to enjoy their meal. I loved the room and had an excellent and restful night. I did not get to try to pool (it was raining) or the gym but both looked OK. The pool has a bar area. The gym looked to be well equipped. I overall enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was very accommodating. The food was de
