A nice welcome,plenty of tea & coffees & water bottles but no biscuits, room was small but comfortable,situated in a quiet back yard where bins are & an old van are though.Parking a little tight but ok.Food was good,drinks were expensive.Breakfast was good with anything you want.Room not serviced if longer than one night.Comfortable bed nice clean sheets & duvet.No Netflix connection.

Good value for basic room and good breakfast.
Clean and comfortable. The condition let it down a little, e.g. badly damaged headboard, it would be easy to replace. Also the rooms are in the car park and cars are right outside the downstairs rooms’ windows. With an eye mask I got a good nights sleep and the pub is lovely, people friendly and the breakfast is very good.

酒店回复: Hi we have just replaced all the beds and are awaiting the new head boards. Hopefully you can return and see this. We are also fighting planing permission to remove the old frontage on the terrace and develop new gardens which will give us more parking so that the rear of the building does not have to be used for parking. The Barleycorn is situated in the middle of a village, and it was lovely to listen to the wood pigeons burbling/cooing through the window. The rooms are not above the pub, but behind, and consequently quiet; ours was nicely furnished and the bed/mattress comfy. The owners are enthusiastic and welcoming. The main disadvantage to the location concerns traffic, such as Macdonald's lorries, that seems to race along the road:
it makes finding somewhere to safely walk the dogs a little challenging. We needed a location that was close to Ludgershall, and Collingbourne Kingston was convenient.

酒店回复: We thank you for your review and glad you enjoyed your stay. The village speed watch are constantly catching lorries speeding i'm afraid. This is one of the main North to South roads which puts us in a great place to stay however we cannot control whom uses the road.

Not great !!
However we were able to check in early, the reception wasn't very friendly. No further information about breakfast or any other e.g. regarding wifi (which wasn't available in in the end)
The headboard of the bed had stains on and cobwebs were present in the bathroom.
When it came to Sunday morning breakfast was only available till 9.30am which is a little early and, would we have known, would have attended.
All in all not a great experience and not a great advert..
