Very clean and staff was exceptional. The breakfast buffet was more than we expected. Will be staying again when in the area.

Room was in fair condition. Something had been sprayed around the room (floor, tables, etc.) maybe a cleaner and not wiped up. You have to walk to the main hotel for the pool and breakfast. Pool was indoor, but cold. Breakfast was decent.

Room was very clean upon arrival. Housekeeping was hit and miss. Beds not made up for entire stay. Trash was emptied. Fresh towels were left. Coffee was replenished. This did occur daily. However, if you follow a checklist, and the guests are not using Decaf coffee, leave some extra Regular coffee. Also, the toilet was plugged at one point, and when I called Front Desk to report it, I was told I could come to the desk for a plunger! Me, you expect me to play Plumber? That being said, breakfast was absolutely outstanding, and was the reason for not giving a lower score.

This is my go-to when staying in Lancaster. Staff and accommodations are both amazing. Room is spotless, eds are comfy and breakfast is excellent. Could not ask for friendlier of more helpful staff.

It was clean, comfortable, and the staff was very welcoming. We didn’t see anything dirty or needing attention, everything was pristine. A few more dishes in the cabinets would be good (2 mugs, plates, bowls) but it was workable. If you’re going to be cooking/eating there make sure you have some paper towels or napkins as they do not provide, which is fine. We absolutely loved the breakfast. They had hot food like eggs, sausage, and potatoes as well as waffles, muffins, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal etc. Also coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice, and a water bottle refill station (next to the store). I also liked the breakfast times (7-10) and that they didn’t start cleaning up way before closing time like some hotels do. We got there a few minutes before it closed and they made sure we were finished getting our food before starting to clean up. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The Surestay Studio was very dated, the outside of the building especially showed its age with many rust spots on the building and not very clean. 2 of us were there for 3 nights. According to the description, there would be housekeeping daily - our 2nd day, when we returned, we found a chair in front of the door when we came into the room and the bed covers were just thrown over the top of the beds and when we pulled the covers back, we found they never made the beds at all as the blankets and under sheets where just bunched up and never made and the pillows were never fixed on the bed.
The room was very dusty so much so that if you check the top of the fridge, someone had left a note in the dust saying clean me. There were some type of gnats in the room near the sink near the bathroom.
We had to walk over to the Best Western Plus for the indoor pool and gym which we didn't end up using. I double checked my confirmation and no where does it say that these things were a walk away. The building we had to walk to seemed to be in much better condition (Best Western Plus) and the breakfast was excellent! The staff working the breakfast were very friendly and helpful.
The rooms have the potential to be really nice as they have a really nice kitchenette, microwave, stove, good size fridge, a small table and chairs, TV - but it just felt like they are VERY neglected. It was very disappointing and we will never return.
