We absolutely loved our stay at the Hotel Indigo in North Conway. Walking in, we immediately noticed how beautiful the lobby was. Tanya, at the front desk, was a perfect combination of warmth and professionalism. She gave us a complimentary upgrade to an amazing suite due to our Platinum status through our IHG credit card (not guaranteed but ALWAYS appreciated!). Our suite had 2 bathrooms, a very large seating area, in room coffee, a super comfy bed and Mt. Washington views. The hotel is on a road that can get a bit busy so set expectations in that regard. We really enjoyed all of our meals there....especially dinner. The chef worked around my husband's food allergy and the service in the evening was great ( I think her name was Sarah). My only critique is that the overhead lights were on extremely bright in the restaurant. Dim those lights and you have a perfect dining experience. The decor otherwise was very attractive and comfortable. We had a fun little trip in the town of North Conway and, if we return, The Hotel Indigo will be at the top of our list!

I had high expectations for Hotel Indigo as it’s been on my to do list since we heard the old Interval Motel was being replaced and have been watching its development on our previous visits to NH. The hotel lobby is stunning and all the staff we encountered were pleasant, friendly and helpful. My husband and I stayed in the old motel 50 years ago and we were looking forward to several days of rest, relaxation and enjoying a glass of wine in our room while taking in the amazing scenic vista across the street. We feel it is one of the best views in New Hampshire! I called the hotel directly to insure a direct vista view was available during our flexible vacation dates. I was assured we were all set, but it didn’t work out that way. Jason, the hotel manager, was helpful, but although we finally got the view, and the rooms are nicely decorated it didn’t meet our expectations. Despite being open to both standard rooms and suites, and the hotel was not fully booked, it seemed the only available rooms with a direct vista view, included 2 queen size beds, which didn’t allow for seating anywhere near the window. Jason brought us another chair, but sitting at a desk wasn’t what I had in mind. Seems like a design flaw since the view is what truly makes this hotel unique! The beds were very comfortable, but if you are one that lets pillows impact your sleep you may need to BYOP. We had planned to dine at the Viewpoint Restaurant, but upon entering at night, the lighting was extreme and resembled the brightness of a cafeteria, not the cozy and intimate setting I was hoping for. We were told there was an issue with the dimmer switches, but it was a missed opportunity for us. We did have two amazing breakfasts and appreciated dining with such great views! I was hoping a hot tub would be included in the pool area, but it was not. I would strongly recommend booking an appointment at the onsite Scenic Spa. We got very relaxing hot stone massages from Samantha and Carly, which was a highlight of our visit. I understand the hotel has only been open for a month and as with any new business, there are kinks to work out. We visit NewHampshire at least twice a year and hope to visit Hotel Indigo again and now know the numbers of the rooms to ask for!

This was our first time at the new Hotel, we decided to go for dinner Friday night, the dining room is beautiful very inviting, our waitress sara was very cheerful and pleasant, I ordered the pork chop and my husband ordered the half chicken and both exceeded our expectations, not only where the plates beautiful but the flavors were amazing, I've had pork chops in the past that ended up dry and disappointing but not this one , our drinks were good, and the whole experience was very pleasant, definitely coming back .
