Umaid Mahal is an aesthetic heritage palace style hotel which gives you a feel of staying in a palace and not any hotel. Staffs are amicable reflecting the typical hospitality of Rajasthani culture. Food was well prepared and very tasty. Overall excellent place for a relaxing retreat in Pushkar. Highly recommended👍🏻

Nice hotel, out of the hustle and bustle of Pushkar. Our bedroom was lovely with big very comfortable beds and nice clean light rooms, however it did have some shortcomings. 1 Eggs and meat are banned in Pushkar and it is a very traditional hotel and restaurant. This meant that food choices were limited, however the restaurant staff were charming and helpful. 2 Tips are highly prized and typically the women do the hard work. We opened our bedroom door to a posse of women each carrying one piece of luggage - some very small and each wanting a tip. The whole atmosphere around tipping felt very unpleasant ( and I say this as a happy tipper)
