Nice hotel to spend the night after a long day at the beach. We are within 2 hours from Wilmington but after a long day at sand dollar island we wanted to get a hotel room so we didn’t have to rush back home. The hotel seemed clean for the most part. Could use some updating in certain area. The level we were on had a few dehumidifiers out so it smelt a bit musty. I’m assuming due to it being July and hot. That’s my only complaint.

The entire staff were kind and helpful to make our stay perfect. From the check in by Madina, to the restaurant staff and chef who loaned us his wheelchair, it was the perfect getaway that’s right on the water with a stunning view.

If the Hilton brand were looking for the perfect poster child for flawless Tapestry hotels, this one would be it. The newness, cleanliness and total comfort of this strikingly renovated property is difficult to describe. The design is open and spacious as was our room, with a lovely view of the water and yatchs. We have stayed in other Tapestry hotels in various countries. But none so far can outshine this star.

Light from outside comes thru the end of the completely closed curtains to completely bath the headboard and pillows of the bed. Very poor sleep

Easy to park, top notch service by the staff, also very clean and nice rooms. Easy to navigate when inside the building. And great coffee in the mornings

Very nice with great views and walking distance to downtown shopping and restaurants. Outside patio on the harbor is wonderful.

Let me start by saying this was our first stay at the riverfront inn, but it will end up being our only stay. The food was phenomenal, and the bartenders were exceptionally sociable. But now for the real star of the show, Madina at the front desk might as well be family with the warm and welcoming demeanor. Her ability to connect with our kids single handedly stood out. Our three or four interactions with her is what ensured going forward, that the riverfront inn will be a part of all of our family adventures moving forward. Rare in these times to find someone with her blend of professionalism, amd genuine joy for welcoming her guests into New Bern. All around wonderful experience. Just extended our stay another night instead of staying for free with relatives because of how comfortable everyone made us feel.

Montse at the Tryon Riverfront in New Bern was a huge help. I had somehow double booked and she was able to help me get one of them cancelled. Thank you so much, and the room was amazing! Clean and wonderful views. This was my first time staying here and we got in late so her help was very much appreciated.
