I am writing to express my absolute shock and profound outrage regarding the egregious treatment we received at the Treehouse Hotel in Belgaum, Karnataka, in November 2025. We booked a room at your hotel a full 10+ days in advance and received a DATED AND CONFIRMED RESERVATION EMAIL from your establishment. Despite this binding confirmation, upon our arrival at your reception desk with all our international luggage, we were informed, in a frankly cavalier manner, that our reservation had been FLATLY CANCELED. This is not merely an inconvenience; it is a complete betrayal of trust and a shocking failure of basic hospitality standards. As frequent international travelers, we have never encountered such an appalling situation where a confirmed booking is unilaterally canceled the very moment a guest attempts to check in. Your staff offered the inexcusable excuse that the cancellation was mandated by your "corporate office." Yet, even 15 days after the date of our intended stay, we have STILL NOT RECEIVED A SINGLE CANCELLATION EMAIL OR COMMUNICATION from the Treehouse hotel chain. This is utterly unacceptable. A reputable hotel's first and most critical responsibility is to HONOR ITS COMMITMENTS, especially after confirming a reservation. The cancellation, occurring during peak season, left us stranded with our luggage and forced to scramble desperately for alternative accommodation. Let me be unequivocally clear: This is a truly VERY BAD EXPERIENCE that demonstrates a fundamental lack of respect for guests and a catastrophic failure in your operational protocol. The Treehouse Hotel in Belgaum does not deserve a single star based on this performance. Be advised: I will NEVER book with the Treehouse hotel chain again. I will actively and STRONGLY DISCOURAGE everyone from booking with Treehouse, as they risk this same kind of shocking, last-minute disappointment and poor treatment. This incident has severely damaged your brand's reputation for us and for anyone we share this story with.
