This was the perfect place to stay for a work trip. I’m an atty and had a jury trial nearby and got one of the queen suites with the living area and kitchen. Had plenty of room to spread out all my paperwork, exhibits, etc. between the desk and the sofa. Nice open space in living area to pace around and think! Great closet, full length mirror, well lit bathroom. Breakfast choices were excellent, several healthy options. Good coffee. Hotel is new and clean and bright. The staff truly went out of their way to be nice. The gentleman who checked me in was so welcoming. Then one night I had to print a deposition at the last minute and the lady at the front desk was so helpful to do that for me! All in all A+!! I will now be checking for the closest TownePlace Suites anytime I travel for business.

Room door wouldnt unlock. Even staff had trouble snd said many of the doors are just like that - push pull twist and kerñ trying until it opens. Even if you are inside, trying to get out. Bathroom door would not stay closed (I sense Cheap Construction). We could hear the neighbors upstairs like elephants jumping around, but I think it was just the floors were not insulated for sound . Found some kind of water bug in the bathroom. When we arrived, the room was not stocked with bath towels or paper towels, or Kleenex , or toilet paper or bags for the trash cans; we went to the front desk and got everything ourselves. The staff was nice, but needs a better trained hotel manager to coordinate that things get handled. We were trying to check out for half an hour before the official checkout time, but there was no one at the front desk and no one answering the front desk phone by the checkout deadline. We had to call after we left and we’re on the road to let them know we had checked out. There are better managed hotels in the area and we would not stay at this one again..

I had a stay recently with this property that is sub par. I contacted the management company (Ram Hotels out of Columbus, GA) to which I received no response. The letter speaks for itself. I also followed up with a phone call and had to leave a message a few days later to which I received no response. Another subsequent phone call was met with voice mail so I've had enough. The bed was comfortable but the room didn't cool off well enough and the thermostat cannot be lowered under 68 degrees if I recall. It was not 68 in the room so the thermostat couldn't have been operating properly. The front desk staff was invisible most of the time and they never smiled during any interaction. I won't be staying there again. Read for yourself: "I am currently staying at the TownPlace Suites Millbrook. I want to report the filthy condition of the disposable (at least it is supposed to be) shower liner. As you can see it is covered in mold. When I checked in on Monday night, I made the Guest Agent aware of this and asked to speak to the Manager. She said that the Manager wouldn't be at the property until the next day. I called this morning and Carra Hutto was not expected to arrive until 3PM. I left a message on the number on the board at the front desk but never received a return call. I wanted her to see it person so she could see the absolute lack of attention to detail her housekeeping staff has. That amount of mildew does not accumulate in a few days so apparently over the course of several weeks, the shower curtain was not cleaned nor inspected. But it was removed this morning so now I can't show it to Carra. But if she's not here that's not possible either. This is an absolute embarrassment to the Marriott brand. In addition, I have found your front desk personnel to be rather non-responsive and lacking in customer service skills. In the several times that I have passed the front desk entering or exiting the lobby, I have only seen the desk occupied one time. All other times they were in the office with their backs to the desk area or not visible at all. This is also embarrassing that you don't have guest agents who are prepared to greet guests with a smile and a verbal acknowledgment. They have been indifferent to guests coming and going and they have yet to smile once. This property feels like a Best Western, not a new Marriott branded property. Clearly the management of this property has not impressed upon employees that there is a Marriott way of doing things and you are not fulfilling that expectation. Marriott senior management would be embarrassed at the attitude of them employees and this episode of a moldy shower curtain. I stay at Marriott properties frequently and I am well aware of the standards that you are expected to uphold. You are failing miserably."

What a beautiful hotel. Came to check in with my husband last week for a stop before we hit the beach. Veronika was phenomenal. We are from Michigan so it was a breath of fresh air to be greeted in a professional manner! Will definitely stay here again when traveling through.

I have stayed here on hotel's first day. It is certainly very nice to stay at a place that is so new, and it smells good everywhere. The one-bedroom suite was nice, with full-sized refrigerator and kitchen. What wasn't full size, it was the shower. It seemed as the designer felt the need to reduce shower space, itis quite tiny. Also, in the morning, hot water was luke warm. The most unpleasant part of the stay was the fire alarm turning on around midnight, neccesitating waking up, packing and moving to a different room. Not a great night of sleep at all. Breakfast was ....interesting. By 6.45 am when I arrived, the hot plate just had crumbs on it. If this is how it is on the hotel's first breakfast service..... Had to go out to have a normal breakfast.
